FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Choosing a Dog Walker: Meet with several reputable and experienced dog walkers and choose the company/ person you feel most comfortable with. Make sure your dog walker has a back-up plan: A dog walking company that consists of a single person is necessarily unreliable--sooner or later, something is bound to come up. Also, you should never be asked to pay to meet the person who will be regularly coming in and out of your home. Flexibility: If your potential dog walker makes you feel in any way pressured, run. He should be someone who works with you, someone who understands that last minute changes occur and doesn't charge you when they do. References: Don't just trust Yelp! Check your dog walker's references -- they should provide the names and numbers of at least three clients upon request. A walker unable to do so probably doesn't have at least three happy (and real) clients. A lively facebook page with a lot of interaction with clients is also a pretty reliable indication of dedicated and professional dog walker.
