Doug Waldman contacted me shortly after I requested quotes. Two days later, one of his qualified trainers met me at my home after work. She listened to my concerns and modified the exercises to meet my needs. Next time, I am looking for a little bit more challenge. I am certain she plans on delivering it! Overall, a great experience. I recommend them to all boomers looking to increase their quality of life.
Dr. Dan's support and expertise were far more than I could have ever hoped. He was flexible and and present, and worked with me in a way that accommodated my schedule and specific needs. My husband gave me a gift of 20 sessions with a personal trainer for my 40th birthday. I have been an athlete all my life, but between the birth of my son and a demanding work schedule, I hadnt had much time for fitness for a couple of years and was out of shape and needing to drop some weight. I looked around to find a trainer who seemed like a good fit, and Victoria was my first choice. She was incredibly accommodating she agreed to come to a park near my workplace (which was located outside her normal client area) during my lunch hour twice a week. She brought all of her equipment with her, and all I had to do was show up and be ready to work. Her workouts were incredibly challenging and never boring. She did a great job of tailoring each workout to match my capabilities on each particular day (including when I was sick or simply struggling physically for some reason). With 2 workouts a week and only 20 sessions total, she was able to absolutely transform my body. I got strong, fast, and fit and lost several inches off my waist and thighs. The best part is that she has continued offering her support even though I am no longer a client, and as a result I have been able to keep pursuing my fitness goals on my own. If you want to get fit quickly and without spending a ton of time working out, I highly recommend hiring Victoria. I have done many workout regimens in my life, including working with trainers as a college athlete, and as long as you are willing to work hard, Victorias methodology and workouts are by far the most efficient path to all-over fitness I have ever witnessed.
BEST TRAINER EVER! How do you quantify the feeling you get when you see real results? I had hit a plateau with my workout and then I found Bridget. She is the most inspirational and hard working person I've ever met. She she pushes you like no bodies business but makes it fun and builds your self confidence throughout it all. She is also not one of the trainers that stands with a clipboard just watching you, she does the workout herself to test it and will even join in with you during your session! She is a wonderful coach and really helps you feel safe, showing and teaching you proper form the entire time. Don't forget to ask her about meal plans or recipes either! She is like a book of knowledge. Would I recommend her? Yes, a million times.
The best trainer ever! I've tried 6 trainers before Lamar and only started getting real results with him. He is very focused and determined, not your chit-chat trainer-buddy that you see instead of a therapist. Great results and very professional and expert advice.
Not only do they talk the talk about your fitness goals they walk the walk with you by encouraging you to do the extra reps, so can reach your personal goals. You will love the family like feel with other client as the push and care for each other. The owner/ trainer and the head trainer enjoy being a part of each a every clients journey to a healthy and fit life.
I've been a member at CFLB for over 5 years the longest I've ever stuck with any gym or exercise routine. And I still love it. I've been to lots of other CrossFit gyms and CFLB stands out among the best. The atmosphere here is not overly competitive, and is the opposite of douche-y. Members come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, lifestyles, and everyone is welcoming. No egos or divas, no drama. The trainers are superb they really focus on teaching proper form and technique to keep members injury-free. They'll push and motivate you but they also keep you safe. They obviously love what they do and genuinely care about helping you reach your goals. The gym itself is great large, lots of equipment, and the owners keep it spotless. They're always making improvements and asking members what they'd like to see added. The programming is smart and also safe not crazy like I've seen at other CF gyms. You will get in a great, fun workout but you won't destroy yourself in the process. And you get lots of "value-adds" here for your membership price clinics, workshops, nutrition help, mobility exercises, free skill sessions with trainers. You really get a lot for your money here. And you can't beat the results. At nearly 45 years of age, I'm in the best shape of my life and only getting better. I can't recommend CFLB enough.
Who knew signing up to a yoga class would forever change my life for the better? Taking Rebecca's class would leave me with not just a work out... it filled me with hope, serenity, energy, positivity and life long connections to people I now consider to be family, including Rebecca. None of which would of been possible if the class was taught by anybody else. If you are lucky enough to hire Rebecca you will see that she is deeper than a yoga teacher and more caring than a doula. I have known Michelle for over 10 years and she has always had a love for taking care of children. So without a doubt I contacted her to help me with my postpartum needs. I'm a first time mommy and after I delivered at 10:37 there was no lactation consultant on staff! Michelle was able to get through to my room at 3:30am so that she can talk me through breast feeding for the first time! She also sent me helpful videos. Once I was released from the hospital my little one had a stuffy nose, not a cold just stuffy from getting use to breathing her new world. Michelle recommended some tips that worked like a charm to clear her right up. I could write a novel to speak praises about Michelle and embracing babies but these are just a few examples of how Michelle has been an amazing postpartum doula for me and my daughter.
