Introduction: Get SAFE and AFFORDABLE drum lessons with a Berklee College of Music and Musicians Institute instructor. That's right! I have also toured the globe for the last 15 years so I got everything you need. The studio features 2 drumsets safely distanced apart with all touched surfaces being disinfected after each use. Whether you're a beginner, a seasoned pro or somewhere in between, take your playing to the next level. Lesson plans include: * All styles (jazz, rock, pop, funk, blues, hip-hop, fusion, metal, Latin, world, etc.) * Hand or foot technique * rudiments * fills * sight-reading * odd time * polyrhythms * linear applications * interdependence or 4-way coordination * double bass * rhythmical concepts * improvising * soloing * speed and endurance workouts, and much, much more Please call/text or email if you are interested. My studio is in downtown L.A. I will travel to your home, if preferred. All levels are more than welcomed, including beginners. I would like to work together with you to structure lessons that we both can agree; it will be fun and educational at the same time. I'm very interested in your input, and I can adjust teaching strategies accordingly to match your learning style and interests. It's never too late to learn to play an instrument. If you've been thinking about picking up the drums for a while and have been putting it off or if you already play but your playing has gotten stale, now is the time to get it together.

Steve is a straight to the point, no nonsense teacher, excellent drummer and awesome guy. Teaches complex things in a way that you understand, which is something not everyone can do! As a student of drums himself, one would do well to take a lesson with Steve B.

Steve is one of the best all around drummers I have seen in person. He can play any style, has a ton of knowledge about different players and their individual attributes, and has obviously been teaching for years. I’m lucky to have met up with him. My playing and approach to the drum set have proved dramatically since our first lesson. Chris Mandry

Steve is a fantastic drum instructor. I had private lessons with him for many years. I feel like my chops have gotten to an amazing level. Thank you Steve!

I've been taking lessons from Steve for several years now and I've grown both as a drummer and a musician. He's very good at mixing fundamentals and sight reading with practical exercises that are both great at building your chops as well as fun to play along with. He has a great depth of knowledge on several musical genres too which is helpful as you grow as a drummer and want to explore more rhythms and design your own learning path. I also appreciate that he is able to take things that are very complex and break them down into parts that you can work on at home and feel confident as you move to the next level. Steve's a great teacher and musician to work with and very professional. Highly recommend.
