Mage is so great! She’s very responsive and has such patience with my son. My son has never had a lesson in his life. He has never touched or played the piano before and he doesn’t know how to read music notes yet. Mage has been so great with him so far and he’s learning a lot. The different ways she teaches him to understand at his own pace is so great! Definitely would recommend her!

My 8 year old beginner has enjoyed the first couple months of lessons. I wasn't sure how lessons over Skype would go but for us it's worked perfectly well and made it very convenient. Mage seems an experienced and competent teacher, she is a friendly person, flexible to schedule times with, and has a pretty streamlined process for getting everything arranged.

Mage is an excellent music teacher. She contacted me almost immediately after I posted a need for a piano teacher. She has that spunk of a high energy happy person. Shes extremely helpful and very detailed in every area. She's IT savey as well. Her personality fits her for this industry. I highly recommend her! Not to mention, her qualifications and credentials that she holds as a music teacher are exceptional!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to families and students before starting the lessons. I may ask questions such as if the student has taken lessons before, how much experience on the instrument they have, and what their goals are with lessons and musical growth. It is important for me to make sure that the lessons are a good fit for everyone–communication and rapport are both key! I will even be happy to give you referrals if I know a better that is available.
