Paul is absolutely amazing. He's a great teacher and a great person. He individualizes every lesson for every person. He has fun and truly enjoys playing and teaching.
I've only been taking lessons for a few months and the difference is incredible. Is never picked up a guitar when I started and now I'm (almost) playing bar chords and finger picking with confidence. I can't imagine the amount of one he's spent listening to any song I asked and writing out the part just for me.
I can not recommend him enough, if you want to work hard and learn not just what and how to play but the theory behind it all then this is the guy for you. He's smart and will give you an complete understanding of guitar and music theory which will allow you to excell at playing not just guitar, but any instrument you choose to pick up.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Paul for about two months now and I feel like I have learned so much already! I am very impressed with his knowledge on music theory and his easy demeanor makes me feel comfortable as I scrape through the chords. He also transposes songs that you request, so you can start learning through those songs instead of just chord progressions. While, also, teaching you how to read the music. I am really proud of my progress and it all has to do with his dedication to me, can't wait to see where I go from here with his guidance! I wholeheartedly recommend him if you are looking to start/get back into guitar.

My husband and I hired Paul to teach our oldest son (13 years) guitar and we could not be happier with our decision. My son felt an instant connection and can't for his next lesson. :) He said, "Paul was patient and taught me what I wanted to know". Amazing!

Paul is a great guitar teacher, I’ve learned a lot I just a few lessons. It’s also really valuable that he makes sheet music for the songs I want to learn and teaches me how to play them! Thanks Paul!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40 per half hour and $60 per hour. You pay at the beginning of the month for all lessons in the month. If you need to reschedule, you need to give at least 48hrs notice in order to receive a lesson credit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I regularly make handouts for my students instead of having my students buy books to work out of. I am in the process of making my own book from student requests. The materials cover everything from the names of the strings, to specific songs from artists like The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Eagles, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons, Mumford & Sons, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the University of Denver where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Jazz and Commercial Music with an emphasis in guitar performance. While in school I received awards for "Recital of Distinction" (both junior and senior year) and "Outstanding Jazz Undergraduate".
