Joshua is very professional. He is always available on the phone. His design sense is impeccable! He reads the home and he furnished it to fit the style and feel. The house feels like a home. He was attentive to circulation and the flow within the spaces. He is open to hearing what the client shares. This is refreshing! His pricing is affordable and fair. He understood our budget, timeline and he worked with them. Very happy client!Mar 2, 2019VerifiedJoshua Jackson Designs's reply
Thank you very much, Perin! Much appreciated! Thank you for being a wonderful client too!
This is our first time hiring on Thumbtack and the experience has been wonderful! Josh is very patient and willing to work with us on every detail. He definitely has an eye for design and his price is very affordable. The house sold within two months and we couldn't be happier. We already have another referral to send his way. Thank you for all your good work!Jul 26, 2016Verified
I just can't say enough about Josh ! We had a severe time crunch, and Josh was able to create his magic in record time. He was a pleasure to deal with, and his design for the staging was nothing short of brilliant ! He struck exactly the right note in every room. I wish that I could give him 6+ stars. Highly recommend.Jul 3, 2014VerifiedJoshua Jackson Designs's reply
Thank you Alberta! I appreciate you thinking of me for staging... My work on your unit led to more work in the building and so I couldn't be happier!

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have done stagings that I charge $2,000 for and I have done stagings that I charge $20,000 for. It all depends on the property and the seller's needs. A seller that is living in the house while it's staged is going to be charged a higher rate than a staging of a vacant home just because of wear and tear...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For stagings, I require that the property is clean and swept and that the construction part of the project is over. I also require a key to the property during the time of the install... Without a key, someone is going to have to be doing a lot of waiting around and that gets frustrating. When I meet a new client for the first time, I ask a lot of questions and I encourage clients to do the same. We need to get to know each other and develop a good rapport.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I worked as an apprentice for many years and the woman I worked for was amazingly talented and generous and I learned everything I know from her.
