What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Infinitely varied, as they and their issues are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years as the staff and senior staff therapist at the Hypnosis Institute, where I was previously an intern. Continuous reading in the field. Continuous learning from "reading" my client's deeper minds, gives me ongoing on-the-job-taining.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
The first session, some 3 hours or more, costs $190.00. My own self-hypnosis audio CD, for you to play at home as reinforcement, is included. The second session, 2 to 3 hours, plus subsequent similar sessions, if needed, are $160.00. Price is not the only criteria. You need a person who you recognize as knowledgeable, and who you know you can trust. You need results.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A little over ten years ago (written in 2006) I was between jobs. I had been working in Psychiatric Hospitals and other Institutions, as an Admissions Counselor, Chemical Dependency Counselor, Case manager and Discharge Planner. I was attending some college courses, hoping to eventually obtain a Psychology degree, when a friend of mine suggested, "Why don't you study hypnotism, you could help people stop smoking and make some money." It seemed like a good idea, so I ended up attending classes at the world-renowned Gil Boyne Hypnotism Training Institute, in Glendale.
As soon as I saw on the first video what Mr. Boyne was able to achieve with hypnosis I exclaimed to him, "You are getting people to give you information in a few minutes that would take six months to a year in therapy, because consciously they don't know these things!" I knew I had encountered something I had always wanted, a means to make my work as a counselor more effective and economical in terms of both time and money. As yet I was not aware of the possible depth, speed and range of change available through hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

In her first and only session, I asked her if she had had an experience of this phobic event at school. "Yes!" We did the repair work, and she left.
