Introduction: Ignite Tutoring is an affordable and quality tutoring program founded by UCLA students to connect UCLA Tutors with elementary, middle and high school students. We offer in-person tutoring at your home as well as online (video chat) tutoring. Each tutor is hand-selected and paired on an individual basis with each student. They are not only effective and knowledgeable but also outstanding individuals in all walks of life. From the community to the classroom, our tutors will serve as strong, motivating role models for your students to grow into the young people they strive to be.

We hired a one-on-one soccer coach for my seven year-old and been extremely impressed with him. He connected with my child immediately, held his attention, and clearly enjoyed what he was doing. And my seven year-old ADORES his coach! We will definitely be using Ignite for a long time, as well as adding an academic tutor in the fall. We love Ignite!

Pricing for individual tutoring sessions begins at $35/hr
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First clients will get on a call with one of our tutor coordinators. We'll ask what you're looking for as well as ask questions about the style of tutoring you think your student would work best with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our tutors are highly vetted via a resume and cover letter review and a two part interview process. All tutors in the Los Angeles area are UCLA undergraduates and recent graduates.
