My wife and I had the privilege of having Michelle as the cantor for our wedding on May 23, 2015. She did an amazing job singing and our guests were blown away with her voice. After the wedding I had people come up to me and say how beautiful the music was, especially the voice of the person singing! Michelle is a true professional. On the days leading up to our big day she took the time to meet with us and offer guidance in picking the songs for the wedding. She is very patient. My wife and I did not feel rushed during our meeting. Michelle gives you her full attention and does a great job working with you. On top of all this, she also has an amazing personality and is very easy to work with. You can't help having a smile on your face when working with her. Thank you so much the amazing job Michelle!

I first heard Michelle sing at a wedding for a close friend. She was an absolute show stopper and what I remembered most about their ceremony. I knew from that day on that I needed her for mine when the day came. I messaged my friend immediately following the ceremony and kept her information for almost three years!! :) She was nothing but a pleasure and joy to work with during the planning process and an absolute highlight to our ceremony. Everyone loved to hear her sing and was the number one compliment we heard on feedback from our ceremony from friends and family. I would love to find more excuses to hire Michelle- it would be great to just call her and have her sing to me on the phone haha:) I love her and you will not be disappointed.

We had the honor of having Michelle Crenshaw and her son preform during our wedding ceremony. We had previously seen them at our friends wedding held at St. Monica's Catholic Church. When we heard their rendition of "The Prayer" by Celine Dion, I was absolutely blown away. I knew at that point I wanted to ask them to share their talent on our wedding day. On 11/28/15 they preform on our wedding ceremony at St. Vincent's Catholic Church and it was absolutely amazing. Our playlist consisted of religious pieces and as well as contemporary/R&B/Hip hop songs that my husband and I adored. She was well organized and her experience with events and performing helped us be at ease with the decisions we made. It was absolutely breathe taking and my family adored their voices and organization. Still till this day, I wish we got more footage of their vocal performances before our ceremony even started. They did an amazing job even during the prelude. We only met with her once and kept in contact with her via email, which was convinent. On the day of the wedding they delivered their best and we had no regrets. Working with them was a delight and I was very thankful. They added the special touch to our special moment. Our guests always told us our wedding music was on point and there were no dry eyes in that church. Feeling blessed to have met and work with Michelle Crenshaw. She definitely made our wedding memorable with such an amazing talent.

I have done many events with Michelle Crenshaw , including international level concerts and recordings and live performances. Michelle is a complete professional and always prepares experientially on every possible level: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and imaginatively. Whenever I've worked a job with Michelle , all was organized & professional . On every job she sang extremely soulfully & musically ( in tune , in time, etc.) in addition to organizing each step every player was to take . This made the gigs go very smoothly , which in turn left the clients thrilled with our efforts . I love working with Michelle for these very reasons !

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, for Voice Lessons. $75 hr or 4 lessons for $60 (when paid in advance) Students who practice regularly have the best results. Recording session rate: $200 + per hr. depending on what is requested. Wedding: starting at $350 For bands, and all other entertainment services, hourly and Project rates are available upon request.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I study and practice daily. That's my way of life. I attend music training and production workshops often to stay in step with current music industry trends. I have 40 years of professional live performance music experience. I have worked on Broadway, THE BEST training for any vocal performer. I've appeared on The Young and the Restless, in concert at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, as a featured artist at The Rose Bowl, The Anaheim Convention Center, the Barbara Morrison Perfoming Arts Center and many other venues in Los Angeles; as well as the world renowned Blue Note in Manhattan, NY, and the Folies Bergere in Paris. (see my website for a complete bio), I studied theater and music theory at Webster University, music composition and dance at Fontbonne University both in St Louis. I taught musical theater and drama at the highschool and elementary levels. I have taught voice for 25 years and have trained under the tutelage of other well known artists such as Walter Hawkins, Mary J. Blige, Branford Marsallis, composers-David Haas and John Angotti, as well as many local music conducters and producers. Honestly, I have been teaching and mentoring other artists since 1989 when I started my own theater company, Liberty Playhouse of St Louis.
