Nicole catered our baby shower for 30 ppl yesterday and everything went perfectly! While Ive attended many catered events, I was an inexperienced host - so asked a lot of questions. She came up with many great choices for small bites, and I was particular about using organic ingredients, vegetable-based, fish ok but no other meat.
Food was so delicious and presented very well with tasteful garnishes.
Weather was unseasonably hot, and she was very helpful in switching to 'Plan B indoor setup to serve in our kitchen versus an outdoor table. And she executed all her prep in our small pantry area to keep the kitchen free and clear for guests! From my amateur perspective I see this as a notable sacrifice for a chef to opt out of a larger work area, but Nicole cheerfully went about her work commenting she was used to small work areas. She has a perfect temperament for a person in this role - what host doesnt count on this aspect of their event coming off well? Because she shows such sensitivity to the needs at hand, I feel I can highly recommend her for anyone.
Also notable was that she left her work area spotless as though she hadnt just pulled off 6 different amazing dishes: chilled beet soup, cucumber dill cream cheese tea sandwiches, smoked salmon tartlets, vegetable spring rolls, and wasabi deviled eggs. I read her other reviews and requested some of those items because they sounded like her signature specialties - so tasty! But again, she had no trouble inventing many more options that we narrowed down from. Dessert was berry parfaits :-)
As youll read from her other clients, we would not hesitate to call on Nicole for a future catered event!

Nicole is an excellent chef. She's very chill and go-with-the-flow. It's apparent that cooking is her passion and she's at ease and skilled in the kitchen.
She made steaks, mashed potatoes and green beans for a birthday dinner for 10 and it was delicious and beautifully presented.
I highly recommend Nicole and would absolutely hire her again.
