My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Jeffrey for about 2 years. My daughter had taken piano lessons prior to coming to Jeffrey but her previous teacher was just breezing through without really making sure she was "getting" it. Jeffrey took the time to review and "fill in" holes left by the previous piano teacher. I always refer people to Jeffrey because he is thorough, teaches the child at their pace and gently nudges them if they are not practicing enough (my daughter needs it). My daughter has blossomed with Jeffrey as her piano teacher. She is able to write her own music now, because along with teaching her to play the piano he is also teaching her to read music. Needless to say I highly recommend you give Jeffrey a chance to teach your child piano. He is patient, knowledgeable and kids respond well to his style of teaching.

Dr. Toback has taught our children piano for about 4 years now. He is patient and an excellent pianist. I daughter has learned to read music and is a better student and pianist because of him. I highly recommend Jeffery to anyone interested in learning to play the piano.

Dr. Jeffrey is a wonderful teacher to both of my children. He allows them to choose music they care about and is patient with them and cognizant when their attention is waning. He never pushes them too hard but finds ways to challenge them and to make them better players. We were fortunate to have found such a warm mentor for our children's musical education. I'd recommend Dr. Jeffrey, and already have recommended him several times to my friends.

I retired from surgical practice at a relatively young age, and I wanted to provide music education in my community at an affordable price while keeping my hands and mind agile!

Look for someone who can relate well to your child and motivate your child. Look for someone with a successful history of teaching children. Look for someone who is a good teacher and good communicator in general.
