Cindy is an absolute visionary. I am a senior in high school, and I met Cindy a few months before I began this school year. My strengths academically are mainly in reading, writing, social studies, and philosophy, but Cindy has enhanced my knowledge and appreciation for mathematics, science, and my capabilities in problem solving as a whole. When I first met Cindy, I was in desperate need of a math tutor, but what I received was more than I could have ever imagined. Aside from her outstanding mathematical capabilities, Cindy has served as my mentor, ultimate problem solver, entrepreneurial guru, and ultimate inspiration throughout my college prep and application process. As a fellow performer, and actress, Cindy also has helped me explore my passion for theatre, and expand it to become a flourishing intrigue with anthropology, psychology, and motivational speaking. She is literally the reason that I am now travelling as a motivational speaker/ Body Positive facilitator to youth, ranging from middle school to high school. In offering her invaluable time, ambitious mindset, and incredibly compassionate demeanor, she has allowed me to find my true passions, and encourage others to do the same. Furthermore, Cindy is beyond this world amazing. Whether to call her an angel, an oracle, a goddess, a reincarnated Albert Einstein, or any other form of awe, I am not worthy to concretely say. However, I can attest that Cindy has absolutely changed my vision for myself and the world around me, my societal views and aspirations, as well as having enhanced my mathematical and test taking capabilities. Truly, Cindy is the most wonderful, kind, creative, talented, and intelligent essence, one could ever hope to meet or aspire to become.

I'm Journey, a Junior in high school, and my time with Sarajane studying for the ACT helped me reach higher than I was able to in a classroom setting. Her ability to identify my weak points and fortify them in a simple yet effective way proved most helpful in improving my math and science scores. Sarajane has been my literal saving grace in studying for the ACT, pushing me above and beyond my original abilities and being the main reason why I scored a 33 in September. Sarajane is an able and astute tutor whom I hope to continue to work with in the face of any future challenges that may come my way in my high school career.

Victor is a genuine, intelligent, creative person, and an excellent tutor. I refer him with great confidence. Victor has an admirable ability to relate to different types of personalities and learning styles. He not only adapts his teaching to our daughters' unique situations, but seems excited by the challenge. Our children attend different high schools, and have their own unique talents and learning styles and challenges. One attends an academically rigorous private high school, while the other attends an academically challenging, local public school. Victor has tutored them both. Whether it's SAT tutoring or weekly math and bio, or a brush-up before finals, Victor is there. He is prompt, professional, highly competent and above all, energized by teaching. He asks questions. He does not spoon feed; rather, he takes the time to help our daughters discover the answers for themselves. My 17 year old earned a great SAT score, and a substantial 4-year scholarship to the university of her choice. She applied early-action to three schools, and gained admittance to them all. We credit Victor for helping her realize this dream. I now look forward to what my younger daughter will achieve, with his help, as he not only teaches her in the way she needs to be taught, but he cares. She knows this. He establishes a genuine relationship with his students; he helps them gain confidence, and trust themselves. I honestly cannot say enough about Victor, and the impact he has made on our family. He takes the worry and the (dare I say) struggle out of high school, creating space for my husband and I to be more supportive and less "annoying" to our children. It is a relief and a comfort to know such an intelligent, good person has our daughters' and therefore our own backs. Both of our girls' confidence and academic achievement have soared under Victor's tutelage.

“Paulina is truly an exceptional tutor! This could end up being a very lengthy review...She worked with my daughter during her last year year of middle school and hopefully will continue to assist her in high school if tutoring is needed. Paulina tutored her mostly in mathematics and science ,but also assisted her with other challenging subject matter as well.  Paulina is very bright indeed but is also kind, warm hearted, and naturally intuitive. She was able to tune-in to what my daughter needed consistently. Whether study breaks were needed, emotional guidance if frustration levels were high with the subject matter, or simply a change in venue...Paulina knew how to tackle the specific challenge.  Paulina is a true gift to the teaching profession. My daughter and I feel so blessed that Paulina has been there through the challenges of a highly academic middle school.”

Jennifer is an incredible mentor for both children and adults alike. She has tutored all three of my children at various points in their academic studies. My children range in age from 13-22, and all have commented that she was, and is, an incredible benefit to them academically. She has tutored them in various subjects including AP History, AP English, Algebra and Geometry (various levels) , Science, business courses (college level) as well as helping them prepare for state examinations. She quickly assesses which teaching approach works best for their individual needs and shifts her style/approach accordingly.

Date: July 10th 2013 From: P. Jacqueline Smith (Anaheim union High School District Staff) To: To Whom it may concern: Subject: Rudy Champa letter of recommendation Mr. Rudy Champa has been tutoring my son and some of his friends in the subjects of music, English, Math, and science. Based on our professional association over the past 8 years I’ve found Mr. Champa to be honest and straightforward in his approach to work. He not only has an excellent command of the subject that he teaches, but also he accepts any critique as a learning tool by which he could help students to bring about higher level of achievement. Mr. Champa has demonstrated a high degree of the loyalty to his work and has carried out his obligations with extreme vigor and resolve. He connects with students really well too. He is patient, and knowledgeable of how to deal with every student psychology. In his music/piano and theory teaching, his professional performance and recording experience allows him to take classical basics, and relate them to pop, rock, jazz, new age and other styles that kids relate to. My son was not an easy student to work with. Mr. Champa's patience was outstanding. As for other academic subjects, his pedagogy style in teaching them is an additional quality of Mr. Champa as he has broad and varied experience with applying those subjects to life's challenges. He will certainly be an asset to any group with which he associates and works. I would recommend him without reservation.
