I needed a live recording done of my Master of Music Voice recital at CSUN and I am so glad that I was able to find Louis! He responded to my email with a quote right away and let me know exactly what was included. He was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of. He showed up an hour before the recital to set up and do a sound check and that was it, I didn't have to worry about anything else. About 3 days later, I received 2 cd's of my recital in the mail with all of the program information on them. Not only do they look great, but the sound quality is amazing! I have had recordings made of my previous recitals and this is by far the best. Louis is a true professional and I will definitely be using him for recordings in the future. .

I hired Louis for a benefit concert that I held in Palos Verdes, California. Prior to the concert we communicated via thumbtack and he was always very prompt to reply and was very easy to work with! He showed up early to do a short sound check and that was all that he needed. During the concert I did not notice him or his equipment and he was already familiar with the entire concert program! I received MP3 audio files and MP4 Video files via a quick download link from his website. He recorded piano violin and cello and the sound and video quality was top-notch, professional sound, true to the classical style. He mailed DVDs and CDs and even made a promo video for the concert with an online DVD order form for anybody that wishes to order one. Overall Louis was an incredible pleasure to work with and I could not recommend him more!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I am most commonly hired to record solo and small ensemble recitals and concerts. As an University of Southern California approved audio engineer, I also record a large number of student recitals on the USC campus.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are a Classical musician and wants a Classical recording of your performance, it is best to seek a Classical audio engineer. Recording Classical music requires a very specific set of skills that are different to recording Pop. A Pop style recording of your performance may negatively effect the sound of your playing.
