- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always stress how important to develop a good relationship with the student. I usually spend the first couple of lessons understanding the learning curves, and habits of my students and preparing the best lesson plans possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing the violin for 18 years. I studied with many incredible instructors including the concert master of the Seattle Symphony and a violinist from the LA Philharmonic. I have been involved in many group ensembles, ranging from piano trios to large symphonies. I've competed and placed in several music competitions. I received a BA of music performance from Occidental College, and received distinction for my senior recital and musical analysis of Argentinian Tango music of Astor Piazzola.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching in the church when I was in high school. I always loved the reward of teaching and I love watching my students grow.
