Charles Davis married us in 1974. Even at that early stage in his career, he proved to be both conscientious and imaginative. The wedding took place halfway up a mountain in New Hampshire, at Bridal Veil Falls. Bride and groom were dressed in swimsuits. Forty years later, we are still together. We've seen Charlie officiate several weddings and he brings such sincerity, love and understanding to each event, but for us we made a very special request of the Reverend Davis and he married us as Elvis Presley. He's an incredible singer and he was PERFECT. Couldn't have been better.

Charlie was the celebrant for Debra and I back in 1992. I am a humanist, and my wife is Jewish, so Charlie helped us to design our vows. Outside of a traditional religious wedding, where much of the ceremony is already set up, coming up with one's own vows takes some work and could be stressful. But Charlie's kindness, warmth, and sense of humor, coupled with his knowledge of philosophy, religion, and poetry made the whole experience transcendent.
It will be our 25th wedding anniversary in 2017, and we have already asked Charlie to help us renew our vows. We can't wait!

We were so happy to have found Charles to officiate our October wedding. Before meeting with him we were not having any luck finding someone we felt right about. He was easy to communicate with and so helpful with writing our vows and figuring out how we wanted our ceremony to go. Thanks so much Charles!
