Introduction: You will notice from your first conversation with me that I have a lot of fun during the planning process! I love getting to know my clients. I have a strong sense of the big picture and the efficiency and resourcefulness to get things done. I am often planning events within the film industry, such as an annual brunch at the Sundance Film Festival for a prestigious independent film company, premiere parties throughout the year in LA, after parties at the LA Film Festival, and luncheon roundtable discussions for some of the industry's most illustrious producers. When I am not involved with these types of events, I adore getting to plan "prettier" and more personal events like weddings and other special occasions. I love getting to know my clients and their vision, while taking all of the stress and responsibility off of them. From day one, the sense you'll get from me is "I've got this", taking the load off of you and gaining your trust with my reliability. I love delivering incomparable service. My other favorite thing about my job is... Making things beautiful! I love to take what may already be a very "nice" looking space and bringing it up to the next level with decor to match the look and feel you want. Seeing your look of "wow" and hearing guests refer to the event space as "magical" are my most rewarding moments.

I was totally hesitant to hire someone to basically design and pull together a NYE party at my house. I was thinking, "No, I'll just do it myself and save the money, yada yada..." I finally decided to take the bull by the horns because I heard through friends and on this site that Sarah is the best and, I have to say, she was so that--completely impressive and made my party a 10+++. First, she was open and willing to talk before the event. She's an amazing listener with a good attitude as I was totally ambivalent about what to do. She immediately picked up on my style and at that point, it was all good-time collaboration from there. Second, she comes armed with ideas. She showed my images and created a visual image for me of what to expect. Our style ended up being this classy vintage 20s themed. She nailed it. Third, she finds the best deal. I thought I was good but, no, she knows where to go to purchase the look without spending a ton of money. I could go on...I think you get the idea. She's friendly, collaborative and professional. By the time the party-goers came, everyone was complementing me and I had to give credit to this great planner for bringing it to fruition. So, if you are vacillating between yes or no, should I or shouldn't I, just do it. Having her by your side makes planning events a fun and very creative endeavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

My pricing system depends on how much time we have to plan your event and what your budget is. I will create a custom quote to match your needs.

I always keep an eye on what's trending in the wedding world by attending bridal shows and reading wedding magazines. I enjoy keeping my eye on the latest and newest party trends on Pinterest as well. I also continue to develop my own crafting skills so I can put together simple design elements that have a big impact.

The most common types of jobs I have planned or assisted with include: weddings, bridal showers, engagement parties, baby showers, birthdays(both kids and adults), entertainment industry events, baptism and christening brunches.
