Hi, Diego. Thank you for the review but I would suggest to post the review after we actually meet and I provide you the service. Since we haven’t met and I haven’t provided any services the review is not accurate. Let’s do it again once we start training. Have a great day, Gil Correa
Gil Correa is a highly skilled trainer with a great attitude. I have worked with a number of personal trainers over many years both in New York and Los Angeles and none have proved more effective or knowledgeable than Gil. After some time of working out by myself I realized that I needed a pro who would help me stay in shape and reach new goals. I got lucky by finding someone of Gil's caliber and could not be happier.Feb 1, 2017Verified
Gil is great! He really listens to your concerns and pays attention to how your body moves and reacts to different exercises. And he offers nutrition plans as well!Nov 3, 2016Verified
After working out with various trainers and in bootcamps, I know what style of training I respond best to. Gil makes our workouts enjoyable and he really cares about helping me meet my fitness goals. My job is pretty demanding so working out isn't always top priority, but Gil offers exactly what I need to round out my fitness needs -- I'm already seeing improved definition in my body after training with him this past month! If you want to take your fitness to another level, I highly recommend Gil!!Oct 29, 2016Verified
Gil is an excellent trainer, very patient and attentive to detail. He teaches variety of exercise techniques and has a strong focus on form. I recently found myself in an exercise slump and Gil was able to help me develop a workout routine and diet that got me back on track. Recommended for beginners and seasoned veterans alike.Aug 13, 2016Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Get to know them. Their expectations, fears and dreams. That helps to build a whole training that prioritize their individualities, making it easier to achieve their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a 5 year degree in physical education from Brazil where I lived most of my life. It's different from P.E IN USA, it's a course where you study physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, training and a lot of other subjects related to physical activities, fitness and wellness. I also got certified in Canada and U.S for training and weight management. I also have other certifications such as groups classes(yoga, spinning and etc), kettlebell, TRX and also energy healing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been always into exercises since I started doing martial arts. I was an overweight kid who wanted to lose weight and did not know how, as I started to do martial arts during my 15 years, my body started to change. I began to dig more in the martial arts world, learning Karate, Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan which leaded me to a university and a degree in the area of kinesiology, sports science, training, fitness and wellness. My degree gave me a whole new world when I started to work in a Gym, studying and practicing weight training, group classes, pilates and yoga, so as gymnastics and circus activities. I like working with people, helping them to achieve their goals, watch them change their attitude, mind and body in the process and see that they are enjoying what they are doing.
