- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Get to know them. Their expectations, fears and dreams. That helps to build a whole training that prioritize their individualities, making it easier to achieve their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a 5 year degree in physical education from Brazil where I lived most of my life. It's different from P.E IN USA, it's a course where you study physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, training and a lot of other subjects related to physical activities, fitness and wellness. I also got certified in Canada and U.S for training and weight management. I also have other certifications such as groups classes(yoga, spinning and etc), kettlebell, TRX and also energy healing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been always into exercises since I started doing martial arts. I was an overweight kid who wanted to lose weight and did not know how, as I started to do martial arts during my 15 years, my body started to change. I began to dig more in the martial arts world, learning Karate, Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan which leaded me to a university and a degree in the area of kinesiology, sports science, training, fitness and wellness. My degree gave me a whole new world when I started to work in a Gym, studying and practicing weight training, group classes, pilates and yoga, so as gymnastics and circus activities. I like working with people, helping them to achieve their goals, watch them change their attitude, mind and body in the process and see that they are enjoying what they are doing.
