- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not think my pricing is complicated. I try to stay within 10-12% of the overall event budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading, researching and keeping up with current trends, but I like to be a trend setter so being a visionary is my secret...and that can't be learned.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I planned a birthday party for one of my friends in college, her parents gave me a hefty budget for back then, $500. After a few months of organizing, coming up with the right theme, (zombies) and creating a very scary but beautiful scene....I stood on the second floor landing and looked out over the guests laughing, dancing and enjoying what I had created....I think that was when I was hooked.
