- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Consultation ( on line): $ 75 /hour Consultation on site: $200 min ( 2 hours consultation) Shopping Trip: $ 85 per hour Interior design ( if customers choose to hire by the hour): $ 80 per hour For staging projects, our quote includes furniture rental cost for 2 months. We request 50% down payment for staging projects. We offer special discount to realtors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Introductory call 2. Walk through 3. Quote 4. Presentation board/layout review with customers 5. Finalize design In most cases, having property pictures or floor plan helps in understanding the requirement better.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have earned a diploma in Interior Design from Conestoga college in Waterloo. This program is recognized by the Decorators and Designers Association of Canada (DDA) and graduates have the skills to pursue employment in various areas of the residential decorating field. Courses include: Fabric and window treatment, Designing kitchens and bathrooms, Advanced interior decorating, Floor plans, space planning and presentation, History of furniture and accessories, Color and application, Interior material and surfaces, Fundamentals of lighting, Fundamentals of CAD
