- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Are you a planner like me and just need help fine tuning your event? Are you stuck on finding a specific vendor for your event? Do you need a brainstorming session to kick start your own event planning? Are you looking for a fun weekend getaway itinerary? I offer event planning consulting services at a rate of $25/hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in engineering. If you need someone who loves details I am your gal! My day to day job involves planning and managing millions of dollars of work. My roll in construction management has made planning second nature.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started in the wedding business as a wedding DJ in 2014. As a wedding DJ if there was not a day of coordinator I would take charge or the ceremony and reception timeline that was coordinated with the bride and groom. I am very comfortable and experienced with executing day of wedding timelines. I started planning in 2015 when I started working in construction project management. I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Civil Engineering from there I got to coordinate and plan multi billion dollar projects with the most amazing team of people! Little did I realize my job would prepaid me for my true passion. I am always the planner in the friend group it’s just something I love to do and I didn’t even think of planning as a talent it just came naturally! Fast forward to planning my wedding this year everything effortlessly fell into place I savored every second of the wedding planning and realized I wanted to help others who don’t find the joy in planning! I realized the work I’ve been doing in construction has really elevated my planning skill set! I’m so excited to continue my passion for planning to carry on into event planning!
