I’ve attended many events and trips planned and hosted by Carrie - all of which were truly memorable experiences. Carrie is a natural planner and leader. One of her many strengths is coordinating trips for large groups down to the smallest details. Some of these include camping trips, scuba diving escapades, wine tasting weekends, music festivals, and more. She’s coordinated surprise birthday parties, Halloween parties, dinner / cocktail nights, sailing experiences, and even a whole day full of activities in our own city that none of us had experienced before! Carrie is highly motivated by curating unique and memorable experiences for others and she truly loves it! She’s hard-working, organized, practical, experienced, and an overall great human! I also admire Carrie’s artistic eye when it comes to decorations!! Everyone is blown away by her balloon arches! I would highly recommend working with Carrie for your next event.

Carrie is absolutely amazing. She helped coordinate my wedding day and was such a pleasure to work with every step of the way. She is organized, punctual, friendly, and accommodating. In truth, she went above and beyond for us. Prior to the wedding, she provided a checklist of everything you can imagine. She was stern in the most friendly way to keep us on track. She provided friendly reminders and nudges so that we did not fall behind. We had a tight timeline and she rose to the occasion. I think what I’m most grateful for is how Carrie ran the show on my actual wedding day. She executed everything that we had discussed prior to the event and also picked up the slack for vendors. I did not have the greatest experience with my florist. I may be the only one who noticed because I know the planning that went into the day, but also did Carrie. Carrie decorated our welcome table and cake table in the manner that I wanted to make up for this in an impromptu fashion without a beat and made me so at ease and happy. I am so grateful for her. She also came to the venue early to make sure everything was spot on and stayed late with us to make sure the break down of the wedding was done accordingly as well. She is simply an angel . As I previously mentioned, she is kind, accommodating, organized, straight forward, and true to her word. I highly recommend Carrie and wish her much success in all of her future endeavors.

Are you a planner like me and just need help fine tuning your event? Are you stuck on finding a specific vendor for your event? Do you need a brainstorming session to kick start your own event planning? Are you looking for a fun weekend getaway itinerary? I offer event planning consulting services at a rate of $25/hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in engineering. If you need someone who loves details I am your gal! My day to day job involves planning and managing millions of dollars of work. My roll in construction management has made planning second nature.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started in the wedding business as a wedding DJ in 2014. As a wedding DJ if there was not a day of coordinator I would take charge or the ceremony and reception timeline that was coordinated with the bride and groom. I am very comfortable and experienced with executing day of wedding timelines. I started planning in 2015 when I started working in construction project management. I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Civil Engineering from there I got to coordinate and plan multi billion dollar projects with the most amazing team of people! Little did I realize my job would prepaid me for my true passion. I am always the planner in the friend group it’s just something I love to do and I didn’t even think of planning as a talent it just came naturally! Fast forward to planning my wedding this year everything effortlessly fell into place I savored every second of the wedding planning and realized I wanted to help others who don’t find the joy in planning! I realized the work I’ve been doing in construction has really elevated my planning skill set! I’m so excited to continue my passion for planning to carry on into event planning!
