10 stars!!!! Best trainer in the South Bay For the last several years, I've suffered from lower back pain, and a limited range of motion, with constant pain, and occasionally numbness in my limbs. I was told by an orthopedic surgeon that I would need back surgery. Nicks customized program eliminated the pain and vastly improved my range of motion and body strength. His training, nutrition advice and guidance substantially changed my overall health and I no longer need back surgery. I reached my goals of actually building a booty which my husband is pretty happy about. Nick is by far the most knowledgeable and experienced body coach that I have trained with in my lifetime. He is a phenomenal trainer dedicated to making sure all aspects of the body are addressed while continually modifying the workouts to keep it fresh and challenging. He truly cares about his clients and provides you with the tools and support to live a longer healthier life. HUGE thanks to Nick for helping me get my life and health back on course. If you are looking for results, give this guy a call. You will be happy you did!!!

I have been training with Nick for about a month. I know that hiring a personal trainer can be nerve racking but from our first meeting Nick was professional, easy to talk to, and most importantly listened to what I needed and what I hated to do! He has a way of getting results through patience and hard work as well as making the workouts interesting! He works me hard but never trying to break me and for those of you that have had past trainers you know what I mean. It is very important that you are comfortable with your trainer and he is someone that does that effortlessly. I am seeing real results and look forward to our trainings. He has a wealth of knowledge and can customize your workout for you. I am back to loving exercise because of Nick. Karen Z

I've been working with Nick for about 5 months now and the experience has been outstanding. From the start he has tailored my program to my condition and fitness goals for maximum performance. He explains everything we do very well and is very supportive and encouraging while at the same time pushing me beyond what I think I can do. I not only feel stronger and healthier, but have gained a whole new level of awareness about myself, my body, and the choices I make everyday.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

By putting you through a full baseline workout, I evaluate your body's reaction to certain stressors and stimulus. This tells me everything I need to know about your current levels of Strength, Mobility, Endurance, and also what your Diet is like. You would be amazed what I can learn from you in 20 minutes. During that first meeting you are going to workout, none of this meet me for an hour consultation and talk stuff. We can chat after your workout but I need to see what I can do for you, this means you are going to be challenged right out of the gate. Bring water :)

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a certification through ISSA, though honestly that is not nearly enough education to be an effective trainer so I devote around 20-25 hours a week of continued study mostly in the fields of biological and physiological health as well as Kinetics. There is a lot of information out there and training is so much more than sets and reps and breaking a sweat. I have been training professionally for many years and have had the pleasure of working with all different types of men and women. I am a perpetual Health and Fitness GEEK. I am always on the lookout for new information and how I can improve my library of knowledge. If you have a question, I have an answer. If I don't have that answer then I'm going to find it.
