Lois has a great ability to adapt to the student's needs. I love her teaching methods, developed by her based in all her years of experience teaching english. I've experienced a really fast improvement with pronunciation, which was my number one concern. I've really enjoyed her classes and I totally recommend her!

Steve was extraordinarily helpful in getting me going for my GMA T test. I had a little over three months but I had only scored a 520 after taking the Kaplan class. Steve had already dealt with many students in a similar situation, so he was able to easily recommend exactly what I needed. I ended up with a 760. Great job Arbor Tutors!

I passed Chemistry! And I could not have done without Francis. I am an A student but this class was very challenging due it being a 5 unit science class condensed into a 5 week Summer course at LATTC. The time spent in lecture was useless. But thankfully, Francis was able to teach me everything I needed to learn for chemistry. He was flexible with his time, which I appreciated since I needed four hours or more at times. He was also easy to communicate with and very supportive. He would usually text after each exam to see how I did. Highly recommend Francis. And will be using him again for my next class in anatomy!

Edward was my GMAT professor for about a year and three months. Our classes were online , three times a week. Sometimes, i had to do some changes in my schedule, and Edward had no problem with that. For our online sessions, he created a dropbox folder, where he shared all his material which includes, textbooks ( three different textbooks) so I could choose and practice more exercises, homework, and a link to Kaplan and other several web pages with Gmat exercises. In class, we dedicated most of our time to check on my exercises and review those which I had trouble. We did all sections on the GMAT exam ( Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal). What I really liked about Edward's teaching was his dedication as a teacher, patience, and knowledge. Edward also provided computer-adaptive GMAT practice tests so I could take a sample GMAT exam every week and check my improvement. I totally recommend Edward as a GMAT professor. I got accepted to all three universities which I applied.

I was having a very rough time with calculus. It was the third time I took the class. I contacted Arbor Tutors and they provided me with a wonderful calculus tutor who was able to explain everything very patiently and fill in the gaps that I had.

I used Matthew Aria's club z for calc 1 tutoring. He and his tutors are top notch. Where previous tutors and my professors have failed Matthew Aria's Club Z has prevailed. There's nothing to hard or nothing that cannot be explained. Club z is able to break down and explain even the most difficult problems then in turn can explain it to me in way that I can understand and remember. Matthew Aria's club z has helped me so much I can even help other people in my class that are struggling. I urge anyone that needs a math tutor that will go above and beyond to help someone Matthew Aria's club z will not disappoint!!! I will never go anywhere else.

We know Robert since Sep-2014. He was highly recommended by the Middle School where our kids attended. After meeting Robert, we decided to hire his services as a private tutor for our older son. The reason being, Robert had a specific plan to prepare our son for the ISEE ("Independent School Entrance Exam"-for Private High Schools) and the HSPT ("HS Placement Test" -for Catholic High Schools). In Sep-2016, we hired Robert again to tutor our younger daughter for the same reasons we hired him before and for the wonderful results our son obtained in his tests. The following are our kids' observations about Robert: "The classes were detailed, productive and extremely helpful. Robert not only teaches many tips and tricks on how to take the tests but most importantly he taught us how to should face these challenges in an emotional and intellectual way. Robert's demeanor was always nice. He has a soothing voice and he made the subject matter very easy to understand because he connected it with every day things that you wouldn't have thought about it before." We are very proud to say that our son was accepted to ALL the HS he applied to (3 Private, 1 Public & 1 Catholic), most of all, he was accepted to his #1 choice of HS. Our daughter was also accepted to ALL the HS she applied to (3 Private & 1 Public), most importantly she was also accepted her #1 choice of HS. Needless to say we are very grateful to Robert for his help and for tutoring to our kids, he is a very nice, patient and kind young man. We highly and gladly recommend Robert.
