Introduction: Hola! This is Maria Vargas, founder and owner of Straight from Spain Academy. I’m originally from Valencia, Spain and moved to Los Angeles 8 years ago. In all these years I’ve been teaching Spanish and little by little I’ve created the best courses and recruit the best Spanish tutors! I founded this academy to help and support people who really want to learn the language and the culture of all Spanish speaking countries. Maria is a wonderful person and Spanish tutor. I hired her to tutor my son. She is so easy to work with and responds very quickly to all my emails and texts. My son loved learning from her. She is patient, kind, understanding, and open-minded. My son had no one to practice Spanish with at home. He became more comfortable and more confident speaking in Spanish with every lesson he had with her. I highly recommend her!

I've been intimated to do Spanish classes but with Maria she is so understanding! The way she breaks down and explains is very helpful and her availability is outstanding.
