Originally from sunny California, George’s background as design lead at Ethan Allen brought him to the Middle East, where he set up his own studio. Region-wide, his design style and his range of home accessories are being recognized as industry-leading. With exceptional attention to detail, our team of highly skilled designers turn design stories into reality, and manage projects from concept through to completion. All the while, we guide our clients through each chapter of the creative journey. MY VISION Creativity is experimenting, growing, talking, risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun. As Interior Designer, I bring my creative vision to life for my clients & projects. I am constantly seeking the New: materials, palettes, brands, unexpected elements. My brand grew from a wish as a young boy, to a dream in my early Designer days, to a Design Studio (House of Design by Mr. G) and finally an Atelier. Today, my commercial and residential clients come from across the UAE, the US, and the country where my ancestors are from, Panama. My vision? I am a real estate broker of 35 years and I have had many homes staged , but what George and his crew did was magical. The quality and his expertise is apparent in all he does . The house that he staged , I know will sell quickly because of his work . I will have the place photographed and forward the photos when complete . In the meantime , I absolutely would recommend George. He is beyond excellent !

Hire George; you won’t regret it! I hired George when I was seven months pregnant and hadn’t designed my nursery. I was beyond stressed, and my husband recommended we find an interior designer. The moment George called me, we clicked immediately. He came over and got to know my husband and me and understood our vision. He presented the most elaborate concept that sold me even more on his vision and company. It took two months to complete, which worked perfectly, and the moment we walked in we were utterly amazed. It’s become my favorite part of my home, and coming in with my baby girl just completed the feeling. George and his team truly know what they are doing and communicate effectively. He studied and stuck to my budget and gave me realistic recommendations and opinions to ensure the design was delivered. I don’t come to write reviews much, but George is a fantastic person, and I won’t even keep searching if you come across his firm. Give him a call you won't regret it!

My experience with George was amazing. My high school daughter wanted an old world European vibe bedroom. I had no clue on what to do. George took control with enthusiasm! He spoke with my daughter intensively and in great detail about her vision. The end results blew our expectations away. I will definitely use George again for another project. Alyson

I had an amazing experience with Mr. George Foster. I had explained to him my vision and how I wanted to feel when I entered my apartment. He was able to understand what I wanted with little direction and deliver an amazing product. It had been the first time that I felt like I had a home and it was because of his attention to detail. George presented himself very professionally, responding promptly to the initial request for information and quickly scheduled an in person consultation. However it soon became obvious that he was unable to understand or desire to follow our budgetary constraints, our interests, or provide realistic options. After “selling” us on how he and his team would provide the service we wanted and we paid the consulting fee and purchased, through his company with ridiculous mark-ups, two elements supply elements. We were presented with the labor costs only which far exceeded our initial budget. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

Hello Darrin, We find it unfortunate that that was your experience with The Atelier. Our team was quite excited to continue working with you; however, it didn’t seem that we were the firm you wanted to continue with. You suggested we work with a particular furniture distributor for budgeting reasons which we did. Note that the budget is something that you have control of. However, after the design presentation, you mentioned how the furniture distributor was not delivering quality furnishings due to prior experiences. In addition, you were very direct in wanting luxury furnishings and lighting. Regarding lighting, we presented you with the Restoration Hardware chandeliers you selected; however, the price tag was not your liking. After that design meeting, we were later informed that you didn’t want to work with the firm, and we weren’t given an answer to why. However, we were and are still open and willing to make adjustments. If you wish to work with the firm in the future, we will gladly aid you in designing your property. Thank you, The Atelier
