Dog training saves lives, and Holly has what it takes to help dogs and their families develop a bond that will keep everyone out of trouble! Our dog has a great temperament but a mind of her own, along with a strong prey drive (that may extend to smaller dogs, as she has bitten one before and lunged at others). Holly has helped us get our dog into a mindset where those distractions are not overpowering. We could not be happier to know that our dog will be able to be a safe and loving part of our family. She worked wonders with our dog, and I'm confident Holly has the skill to handle more extreme cases. Worth every penny and then some!

John is fantastic. Our dog is a 62 lb 1 year old male, very energetic and rambunctious. When we got him, he needed not only exercise, but also training and socialization. John provides it all! He takes our dog for 90 - 120 min hikes in Funston 3/wk. John makes sure our dog is well matched with the others in the group, so they all get along and get enough exercise and positive play. Our dog is always calm and content after his walks. John also sends up pictures so we can see how much fun (and sprinting) our dog is having. Plus we've noticed a marked improvement in our dog's recall, leash training, and how well he plays with other dog since being with John. I highly recommend John and ABC Dogs!

Gene is polite and well versed in the area of dog training. So far we are in the puppy class and hope to progress to Protection training. He cares for his own dogs and the dogs of others. Couldnt recommend a better dog trainer in the area. So far all his predictions were correct about our Belgian Malinois. Droopy ears no longer droop. Hire him. You wont regret it.

We adopted a border collie/pit bull mix when she was about 6 months old. At about one year old, she started having some less than desirable behaviors. She would bark and pull while she was on the leash at joggers, bikers, motorcycles and other dogs. We were reaching the end of our rope, having tried a choke chain, a prong collar, even a backpack! We had gone to other dog training classes, nothing seemed to be helping. We called the PoochCoach and from our first lesson there has been nothing but improvement from her. Walking was almost a night and day difference right from the start, she taught us exactly how to communicate what we want from her so she knows what is expected from her. The Pooch Coach is always available for us to reach out to if we ever have any questions which is amazing. You never have to wonder if you’re doing it correctly until the next appointment because you can always call to ask! The methods she uses makes the training fun for us and our dog which helps to turn practicing with her from a chore into bonding time that we are all excited about. We can’t wait to see what else we can learn!

Hello! I offer puppy training and behavior modification. I am flexible on weekends and can work around your schedule. I am easygoing and am available to answer any questions you have after dog training is complete. I also offer outings to the park and boarding in my home (usually to dogs I have spent some time with already, but I can do a few walks with your pup so he or she gets to know me).

Welcome! For private dog obedience training in your home, help for an out-of-control puppy, adult behavior modification, house training, manners, excessive barking, aggression, watching dog alert, biting, puppy management, object guarding, running away and kennel/dog run design, we can help you. K9Instructor.Me Dog Training serves San Francisco County, San Mateo County and Santa Clara County. My Philosophy My name is Robert Linton. It is my goal to help you create a relationship with your dog built on mutual trust and respect. Your dog is a member of your family and should be treated as such. All dogs benefit from a leader who is kind, fair, and consistent. Good leaders teach manners and insist on polite behavior. When you have established yourself as the leader, your dog will strive to respond to your direction. As a positive trainer, I believe in using dog-friendly methods that engage a dog's natural temperament, abilities, and drives. When training is rewarding, dogs want to participate and learn, they also retain more. Why Customized Training? Every dog is a unique individual. Some are shy, some are energetic, some are dominant, some behaviorally challenged. During the consultation, I consider such factors as your dog's temperament, breed, age, sex, general health, and history, and use this information to create a customized training plan that addresses obedience and behavior concerns. Techniques and tools can be adapted to suit individuals or situations as needed. Even the youngest members of the family can be involved! My Background I bring my extensive experience in obedience training and behavioral consulting/modification of 25 years and a genuine enthusiasm and sincere love of dogs to the training process. My interests are family companion animal training, behavior modification, and holistic health/nutrition for canines. Ask for Robert.

Welcome to Pawsitive Energy! Pawsitive Energy is a one-person operation dedicated to meeting your needs as well as the needs for your pet. You can always expect stellar service and peace of mind that your four- legged friend(s) are safe. My background and experience has enabled me to always put safety first, use common sense and good judgment. Pawsitive Energy is licensed and PSA-insured up to $2M. This introduction will help you choose the right type of exercise for your dog. Just like humans, our hearts need to remain strong through physical exercise. Giving your pet the exercise they need, will add years to their life and to your relationship. The proper amount of exercise and frequency of walks will depend upon the size and activity level of your dog. Adding a weighted saddlebag to your medium or large-breed dog not only challenges the dog physically, but mentally as well. In a dog's world, a lack of physical exercise and purpose can lead to undesirable behavior such as chewing, biting, barking, and other unwanted acts. A walk isn't just a walk! Below is a list of complimentary services provided to you and to your pet: * Water bowl wash and refill * Nutritious treats * Wintertime night light service. I'll leave the light on for you. * Summertime shade drop-down service. Keeping things cool. * Garbage can pick up. On garbage day, your cans will be pulled in. * Mail/Package pick-up * Poop-n-scoop And here's the best part: * When you sign up for daily dog walking services, you automatically get the Walking for Rewards' card. To qualify for the Walking for Rewards program, you must sign your dog up for three or more walks per week. Please ask me about details. * Earn one free dog walk when you refer someone who signs up for daily dog walking service of 3 walks per week or more. * Complimentary photos of your pet posted on Facebook. * Periodic newsletters with pet information, facts and helpful tips. Pawsitive Energy understands the high level of trust that is involved with your pet and your home. It is my pleasure to provide you with extraordinary service! Please contact me for a full description of services, and rates offered.

We offer dog training and correcting behavior issues with a positive approach, so living with your pet is a pleasure; that is what Pawsitive Thinking is about. Training includes not only how you learn to be a good leader of your pack but also educates your dogs how to be a well-mannered, good citizen. Cues like obedience commands are simple to learn and fun to practice. Teaching our dogs our language ought to be more than stay, sit, heel and recall. It must be the foundation of a loving relationship with a dog that's in balance (happy). Training includes the cues -- watch me, down, sit, stay, wait, leave it, recall (come), drop it, heel, no pull walking, and proper elimination behavior. Also, we learn to stop unwanted behaviors like biting, jumping, inappropriate chewing, digging, barking and separation anxiety. Basic, intermediate and advanced training is offered. My specialties in behavior modification include aggression (dog-to-human and dog-to-dog), excessive fearfulness as well as excessive barking, running away, separation anxiety, jumping, and pulling. If you are tired of your dog's problem behavior, come, and have some fun and learn to enjoy your dog, and then your dog would learn to become a model citizen.
