We are a certified yoga school (certified with yoga alliance). We offer services to those interested in learning all about yoga. We have daily hatha yoga classes, monthly workshops, teacher training, retreats, kirtan, a gift shop, and much more. Most of our classes are taught in the Iyengar tradition which focuses on healthy alignment of the body as the use of props (which we provide) to make postures more accessible while encouraging the body to open and release. All of our teachers are certified and exceeded the minimum standards required for teaching yoga. Brentwood Yoga Center believes in the community. We provide safe, ethical, educational, fun yoga to all ages, body shapes, and abilities. We believe that practicing together as a community creates a supportive atmosphere in which each student is supported and nurtured in order to grow and develop at their own pace. We encourage questions and comments from students to help us provide a better understanding of yoga and all its benefits.
I have been practicing meditation and yoga for the last 7 years and can help others to understand their true self. Thank you for your interest. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Nav is a great yoga instructor who really pays attention to the needs of his clients. He brings a relaxing, meditative, and blissful mood to every class he leads. I especially like how he incorporates all senses by bringing a bell and incense to every class.
I focus on individual conditions and requirements. I'm emphasizing on pranic healing with every posture and on great deep relaxation at the end of every class to relax the mind, body, and soul.

I am 58 years old, mostly sedentary, have arthritis in my back and hands and also a pinched nerve that would trigger whenever or wherever. Every day just getting up from my chair was causing me more and more discomfort. I did not know anything about yoga, but I felt it was going to work best for my situation. So I reached out and there was Edie. She worked with me for over 2 years. Sadly, she relocated so I no longer get to utilize her expertise personally. However, she taught me the skills I needed to have the ability to practice and do exercises on my own. She was extremely attentive and listened to everything I had to say. She took the time to do research on my situation and would bring new ideas and exercises. She was always cognizant of how I was feeling and knew what would work or not work during our sessions. I felt safe and trusted her professionalism and judgement. I will be forever grateful that I was introduced to Edie Nehls.
I never thought I would be into yoga, but Jasmine gave me my very first lesson in yoga and it was an awesome experience! She selected a great location where I could easily relax and focus. She was mindful of my back injury and guided me through the entire process to avoid any pain or strain on that area. She even taught me how to do a headstand for the first time in my life! Overall, it was an enlightening experience and I plan on making these one-on-one sessions a regular thing!
