At first, I was hesistant to hire Shea because she has limited videos online (I advised her to upload more 😄) and just few reviews here. I'm not so familiar with her genre. Good thing i found videos of her songs i know on youtube. She was the best deal i have found. I hired Shea to be our solo musician and emcee. She is an amazing singer and plays the piano really well. Very easy to work with. Although we have some mistakes with the program flow, I can't blame her because i just gave her the script and we had no practice prior. My wedding went well and most of my guests said that she's awesome! One even said that we should hire her in our next event! She is very flexible and you can request your preferred song. Thanks Shea for making my event a blast! I will definitely hire her again.
Emo is an awesome artist he is patient and understand and knows when to push you to your very limit. I shopped around for voice coaches for weeks before I settled with Emo anyone reading this don’t look at anyone else. Go see Emo he’s laidback patient and he his lessons are fun.
Summer is an amazing theory teacher in so many ways! She's incredibly professional, patient, intuitive, and understanding and has the ability to teach to your personal learning style. Loved every minute of working with her, and it's helped advance my own understanding of music, both with guitar and singing, in a way that has allowed me to make leaps and bounds in my own songwriting as well as learning other music styles. Hire her, right this very minute!
I have taken music lessons from several musicians who have always told me to work the minor pet atomic scales. The difference I discovered with Savage Music is that the lessons were geared to learning how to play overall and with other musicians. Savage played with me and opened the the roots of the music, the rhythms and timings, especially the base notes to follow the melodies on guitar. I was given my first song to play and perform the first day and another each week in progression. You start feeling what he is teaching. Thanks Lou. See you soon.
I've been taking guitar lessons with Kimberly since the beginning of 2011. At the time I'd had several years of lessons using a traditional method on acoustic guitar and was looking for a teacher who could help me focus on electric blues rock and move me beyond my intermediate skill level. Kimberly has a real focus on and talent for teaching. My lessons are tailored to meet my interests. A large part of the lesson is devoted to learning her method for blues soloing--at least 5 approaches to improvisation and comping. After several years, I've come to see how these approaches interweave, complement each other and have become an intuitive part of my musical vocabulary. Also, because I expressed an interest, part of the lesson involves sight reading, learning blues and jazz theory, developing rhythmic playing sense, and learning a few favorite solos. Kimberly has an amazing ability to tab out and teach any song you give her. Which leads to the best part--after 6 months I was invited to play with one of her ensemble classes. While I was absolutely petrified with fear at the beginning, this has turned into one of the highlights of my week every week. It is just downright fun! It's a safe and forgiving environment where you can make mistakes and learn, or try things out that might flop, or turn into something cool. Every teacher and guitar magazine article all point to the need to play with other musicians to develop your skills and this is where Kimberly Allison really delivers. I feel that I could now sit in with other musicians and contribute. I give my highest recommendation for taking lessons with Kimberly.
Chris is a wonderful guitar/music teacher and has inspired my daughter's beginning guitar playing. She really looks forward to each lesson and they share a mutual love of music.
Ron was very professional. Showed up on time and played beautifully! He can play many types of music. Even though we had him play for our mother's 90th birthday, he can play everything from swing, Latin, jazz, modern, pop, and rock 'n roll. A plus is that he sings very well, too. Highly recommend.
We had the pleasure of having Steve as my son’s guitar teacher for over five years and I cannot say enough good things about him. Not only is Steve an incredibly talented musician, he truly is an excellent teacher. He is kind and patient, offering encouragement and positive feedback along the way. Steve is also great at customizing the lesson to suit the student. My son especially liked that Steve asked him for suggestions of songs he would like to learn. As a result, his lessons were perfectly balanced with the fundamentals, along with music/songs my son was interested in. In addition, Steve does not miss an opportunity to offer up a challenge and take the student to the next level by introducing a new artist or song, all the while keeping it interesting and relevant. We were amazed at the progress my son made under Steve’s instruction. You will not be disappointed with Steve as your guitar teacher!
Skip was hired for our 60th Anniversary luncheon. He was on time, very personable and eager to please. His music was great. We left a lot of the music selection up to him and it was "right on". He played the saxophone, guitar and sang. His music level was perfect. I would highly recommend Skip for your next event.
Steve is the best of both worlds - a great teacher and performer. He is very patient and knowledgeable. I had a hard time with rhythm and musicality. His methods such as consistency at counting out loud had helped me a lot. Also he has encouraged me to be expressive when it comes to musicality. I was not a beginner but his patience and dedication would definitely be great for beginners as well as other levels and different ages. I truly enjoy lessons with him and I came to love music more and more through these lessons. He is also a pro in pop style! :)
PhatX (Brian Cochran) I find his work to be very professional, dependable and knowledgeable. I've used him several times before, one event on, May 06, 2013 for Bishop Rhone's Inaugural Banquet and wedding receptions. He has all the right equipment and stays updated on songs/artists. Love his work!!!
The Great Party Co. Do a wonderful job of keeping kids entertained...even better us Grown ups enjoy it just as much. Jazzy is an amazing artist, and Ryan was fun and engaging. They offer custom themes for any occasion, if your having an Event give them a call and see what they can come up with to make it an event everyone will talk about.
When taking lessons, it always seems better to me if you respect and enjoy the playing and performing of the teacher. To me, it gives inspiration and instills confidence. Dr. Greenberg is a world-class jazz guitarist whose live playing (and in particular, his soloing) is among the best I've heard. His lesson approach is clear, well thought out and backed up with a really deep knowledge of music. His instruction method is patient, non-intimidating and overall very "user friendly". Regardless of stlye (classical, rock, jazz, etc.) I could not recommend him highly enough!
J. is so unique and talented. I loved every bit of his performance style and appreciate his professionalism. I will hire again. He is a must have for your next event!!!
Have had many drum tracks recorded with Baker, and I love how he is mobile and is flexible with any recording environment. A true sound engineer, not just a “studio” engineer. As technical as can be, but lax enough to maintain spontaneous and creative soundscapes. Super easy to work with but also blunt enough to tell you something has to get done to make a piece better, but knows his limits within the artistic process. Nothing but positive experiences at a very reasonable price
I am finishing my master's degree in music composition and multimedia. I have been playing sax, clarinet, flute, and keyboards and singing professionally for 25 years up and down the West Coast. Recently, I moved to Big Bear and wish to build my music career here.
We are rockin' the blues. We do parties to festivals. Recently, we service the Del Mar Fair and the Vista Strawberry Festival.
I teach piano, voice, violin and cello lessons in a relaxed but professional atmosphere. My home studio is warm and inviting; you must love little dogs! They love kids and people in general! I teach kids of all ages, teens and adults how to read treble and bass clef, play piano, sing, play drum rhythms, or play the violin or cello. Music is healing and fun! It's a great tool to build a child's self- esteem. I have been teaching all styles of piano and voice for 40 years, including traditional music reading, rhythms, fingering for piano, and techniques for great position, pitch and tone on stringed instruments like violin and cello.
My career has taken me to opera houses and theaters throughout the world giving me superior knowledge of vocal performance, acting and languages
I am a singer of country songs, and I play guitar and keyboards. My band is a 3-piece group for club gigs. We play country to oldies and top 40 tunes. I have also been a ventriloquist for over 50 years and use my carector in my Willie Nelson show. I started in the entertainment field at 7 years old as a vent and did many shows from Ed Sulavan to J.Carson many times. I have performed in Vegas a lot. My last gig was the reel awards show at the Golden Nugget. I also do large venues like state and county fairs all over the country and in Japan and South Pacific. My girl singer sings from Lady Gaga to Patsey Cline.
