Amin came out to the house to replace a kitchen faucet as well as move the garbage disposal to the other side of the sink. He took care of everything with no mess and no fuss. He had to run out and get some parts specific to the job that neither of us were aware of needing. He was quick on the run to the Home Depot and immediately gave me the receipts. I was very impressed with his general demeanor and focus. I would highly recommend using him and I am looking forward to having him working on other areas in the house for us.

I got 2 ceiling fans installed in two separate bedrooms. Nima was very professional and got right down to business as soon as he got there. He didn't leave any mess in any of the rooms. The price he gave me for 2 ceiling fans was more than fair, I would definitely hire Nima for all of my electrical needs.

Jose was the first to respond to our job for leveling the kitchen floor and laying our new wood floor. He showed up when he said he would and gave a fair price. He also completed the job on time. We are very happy with the job he did, and we will be using him for our master bath. I will leave that review once that job is done.

Jesse came out for a bath tub we have been having problems with for years. He used a camera to find the problem and gave us great detail on the problem and his suggested solutions. He had said we needed to replace cast iron plumbing under a bath tub. He was definitely correct, he showed us the old drains and explained why this happens in older homes. There were a few problems that arose due to plumbing in an older house, no fault of Jesse's, and he never tried to raise the rate or cover up the problems. He fixed all he said he would and more. I will be recommending Jesse and Top Service Plumbing to anyone who asks me about a plumber.

He installed a new backsplash, installed 2 new light fixtures, fixed and replaced floor tiles as well as other misc. Jobs on our home. Great bid pricing too. Honest guy. He also gets right back to you when you contact him. Highly recommended him for your home remodeling or repairs.

Michael did a fantastic job on my bath renovation. His input and expertise helped me with all my bath renovation decisions and especially with the tile matching. Michael was very helpful and available throughout the project and was always happy and eager to answer all my questions. The subway tile wainscoting came out beautiful! I plan to have him back for my next bath renovation. He was a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed having him in my home throughout the renovation. Thanks Michael !

Don did an excellent job of repairing drawers of very dated cabinetry and making them operate as new. It was a pleasure to work with him since he was knowledgable, responsible, on time, committed to quality work, and had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend him for repairs but also, having looked at his work with the eye of an interior designer, as a possible contractor for kitchen cabinetry replacement.

Golden Oaks Kitchen, Bath and Flooring company was our contractor to do all repairs on our home damages caused by water damage that happened to our home due to water leakage which was started from second floor bath room and flooded to 1st. floor damaging, dray walls, cabinets, laminates +++ .. at 1st. and second floors. This company started their restoration and repair works the day after we signed the contract. Their crew were very professional in their fields of repair and replacement, they were trying their best to satisfy us. Any time that we had comments for adding more repair at one area or paint the areas in a color to match other paints , they were not arguing that and wanted us to be happy with what we need and what they did for us. They were always on time and also helped us to deliver new cabinets, toilets ++++. Overall everything was done on a very smooth way, on time and the way that we wanted to be done.

We are so happy we found Humberto to do our bathroom remodel. He does excellent work- very detailed oriented, super friendly, and an extremely hard worker. Humberto was very conscientious of what we wanted and checked in with us each day to make sure what he was doing was to our liking. He did all of our tile, plumbing, and electrical and it turned out great! He exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend him!! We plan on using him for further home projects soon. Thumbtack introduced Patrick to me within 60 minutes of posting my project (a fireplace renovation). We met early the next day and were so impressed with his knowledge, attitude and availability that we hired him on the spot. Our project began almost immediately and was completed within the week. We showed him a picture of what we were looking for and he and his co-worker replicated it to a "T". We found his work excellent, his attitude positive and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him to others.

Jordan as a person was very nice. His inital follow up was prompt and he spoke very highly of his attention to detail. As a first time homeowner, I know little about construction and heavily rely on the expert knowledge of others to assist with our remodel. We hired Jordan after meeting three other contractors based solely on our interaction with him. When we originally had Jordan out to our house it was for a flooring quote only. Jordan explained he also preformed landscaping work on the side so we added that to our list. Jordan did an amazing job installing the floors! The entire dynamic of the house changed because of the floors. I was very disappointed in a few other areas which is the reason for 4 stars. We do not currently live in the house although we do have a few items in place for weekend visits. Towards the end of the job Jordan said that they were mostly finished so I had gone to check out the progress. The tile work in both bathrooms is crooked. The master bath is very noticeable. In addition, my bedding was covered in dust and they had smeared grout into the carpet in my bedroom. There was also sloppy grouting and caulking done in several areas of my home. To add insult to injury his crew decided it was ok to help themselves to my kids popcicles - this actually upset me just asuch as the tile floor. Giving credit where it is due: Jordan and Tim did have my carpets cleaned, my bedding dry cleaned and I was given the option to have them rip up the bathroom floor or receive a discount from my final bill. Jordan did offer to replace the missing popcicles as well although that never did happen. The landscape looks nice as well but we asked to keep the remaining turf and that also didn't happen. I asked jordan about it and he said what was salvageable was in our shed - it wasnt. Again, I was very happy with the floors but the other items make it hard to say if I would rehire for additional projects. Nice guy but I didn't feel like our home was cared for in the way he said it would be. If you do decide to hire Jordan my recommendations would be: 1. Get a detailed breakdown of the work 2. Notate about the use of your personal items (they completely filled up both our garbage cans) 3. Inspect. Inspect. Inspect. Check every corner.

Mario and his crew helped us out on a complete remodel of a home that was in awful condition. The work they did was really incredible. They transformed a house that I honestly thought about demolishing into a really cute little home. The work was top notch on every detail, from the wall texture, to the plumbing, to even little details like the light switches and fixtures and kitchen fan. Mario also helped me avoid some big mistakes I was going to make around the design of the bathroom and our flooring choice. He designed a beautiful bathroom with materials that were very affordable. He also recommended a flooring that was perfect for what we needed, and helped me to avoid another flooring product that I realized was totally inappropriate for the subfloor I had to work with. I would have purchased the wrong flooring, but he came over to our house and showed me the right flooring. It was almost the same price as the low quality flooring I almost purchased, and I avoided a costly mistake! I was so impressed I have recommended him to my family and will recommend him to anyone I know who needs work done.

Ours was a huge job that was a complete master bath remodel. Jeff moved plumbing and built a new, much larger shower with all of the bells and whistles - 3 soap boxes, a hardwired heated shower mirror, rain head, body sprayers, hand-held sprayer, linear channel drain, and shower seat. He also repositioned the plumbing and installed a deep soaking tub and a new Toto G500 integrated washlet toilet. All of the wet area walls were tiled in travertine with red onyx accent. He did all of the work himself, and the tile work is the best I have ever seen. Additionally, Jeff built a custom linen tower, medicine cabinet, vanity tower and lighted soffit. Everything turned out beautiful! The only thing that I could say could have gone better was the length of the job. It took nine weeks to complete, which was much longer than the original estimate. However, given the size of our job and the fact that Jeff, himself, did all of the tile work, plumbing, carpentry and electrical, I really have no right to complain. We also added a new wood-look tile and new lighting fixtures in a guest bathroom to the scope of work, which added to the completion time. Although he was not the lowest bid we received, his pricing was fair. The reason I chose Jeff was his obvious skill with tile, and I was certainly right about that decision. As a final note, I was impressed that Jeff and his assistant made sure to clean up at the end of every day, so there was minimal "mess distress" during construction.

Florin did an excellent job installing the marble for a specialized walk in bath surround and fixing the drywall from the demolition of our previous bath/shower. Florin also worked well with our plumber to get the job done correctly. The marble looks beautiful, I recommend BCD Construction wholeheartedly to install anyone's marble or tile!

One day we wandered into Morena and found ourselves talking with Kate about remodeling our bathrooms and possibly our kitchen. She suggested sending John out to appraise the labor cost. Soon we had John, Sami and Mike in our home and a discussion started about all the things we would like and to our amazement we were assured that they could do it all. We were pleased that we could have all the work done without having to shop for additional contractors. We agreed to refinish the kitchen cabinets, replace the kitchen island counter, install a new hood over the cooktop, reface a fireplace, extensive remodel and update of two bathrooms, repaint most of the interior of the house and re-polish all the travertine flooring. Immediately we had a bevy of workmen starting cabinet refinishing, wall and ceiling painting. Work was continuous to completion. Sami was very helpful by suggesting and selecting materials that resulted in a pleasant decor. All problems, which were minor, were corrected in a timely fashion. We were very pleased with the work that Morena Home Design did for us.

Nick replaced our master bath tile/shower surround including demo of old surround, raising shower head, replacing fixtures, adding new cement board, and adding new tile surround. We selected a classic white tile with glass inlay since that bathroom is fairly small and it would've been too much to have big tiles all the way to the ceiling. He was very easy to work with, very fair in his estimate, very clean and neat, cleaned up his mess at the end of each workday so we could still use our room, was great at brainstorming with me and flexible to adjust our design as we adjusted some minor things along the way, finished on time, and was very respectful to our family and our time as he worked in our home. I look forward to having Nick help us with other projects in the future. I highly recommend you give him a chance – – I think you will be happy you did.

William did a good job of power washing our house. He was able to start work the day after I contacted him and worked steadily and efficiently for about 4 hours. A piece of tile roof came off and needed to be repaired and replaced which he did with no problem. I would totally recommend Billy T's service to anyone.

Home star contracting team are very professional, skilled and most of all true to their word. I remembered, looking for a contactor online and in a few minutes thereafter I received an email from Home Star contactor. I was very impressed with an email that was sent to me, enclosed in the email three pics of finished remodeled kitchens that they completed. Proof of their work. My attention was captured. Phil's email was not pushy but made himself open to allow me to decide if I should respond to his email. I did! I had at least numerous contractors (5) to my house making their bids and they were very harsh and pushy. The experience with them gave headaches. All but Home Star. What I liked about Home Star, is that the contractor, Phil who came out to the house for the first meeting he listened to what my needs were regarding, remodeling my kitchen. Home Star bid seemed way realistic than the other bids I received from other contractors. A week after I signed the contract, the work started. Home Star workers were friendly yet maintained boundary. They cleaned up after each work day. Even though I had no functioning kitchen, each time they left my home they would connect gas line just in case I needed to use the stove. The microwave was also available. They were so considerate. I have a dog and my dog became their friend as they treated him like their own. The work was completed in a timely fashion. One month my kitchen was transformed from a little space to a larger beautiful functional kitchen. Phil Everitt, you impress me, in responding to my phone calls and texts timely. My questions were answered or my anxiety generally subsided after receiving a response from you. Daniel who worked daily on the cabinets, Rick who did the electrical work and the others who completed backsplash, granite etc... I love, love the richness of my kitchen. It looks amazing. Thanks guys!! I was so impressed I requested additional work such as can lights and fire place. Thanks to Home Star. Thanks Phil, Rick and Home Star team for being honest contractors. I will not hesitate to call on Home Star for any other project.
