- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$25 for 30 minute lessons $45 for 60 minute lessons
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will spend the first part of the first lesson talking to find out what the student's musical and performance goals are...whether he/she wants to learn to read music or play by ear, or both. Then we move to the student's previous experience, and I will listen to something the student can play, and look at the most recent books he/she has worked from. From there we move on to learning the next step in their musical education.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Music Education, and have had years of private piano and vocal instruction. I have taught general music and chorus in middle school, as well as private piano and singing lessons at home. For the last 30+ years, I have been singing and playing keyboards in my own touring band, playing pop, rock, country, blues, and jazz, throughout CA and NV. I can also play keyboard bass and write original songs.
