I highly recommend Ilana. I contacted Ilana just a few weeks before our wedding and asked for some songs which were not regular for weddings. She not only said yes to all of our songs and found us a cellist quickly, but was also responsive to discuss all the details to make sure the performance go well. At the wedding, they arrived early and our guests loved their music! My husband and I feel very grateful for their wonderful presence at our wedding!

Nick is an exceptional music teacher. More than willing to let the kids follow their interest. Nick organically integrated learning about music into a process that is just a lot of fun for the kids. This is not your mother's piano lesson.

I am a bass player who has always played guitar here and there but nothing too serious, and about a year ago decided I really want to know the fundשmentals of guitar. A friend recommended Jacob Light, whom I've heard play before in local bands, and I decided to take the chance. I wasn't dissapointed to say the least. Jacob is a really down to earth guy who immediately understood my musical style and focused mainly on what I wanted to know, unlike other teachers I've had experience with. Even so, he knew what subjects to insist I learn, like improvisation. and scales. all this was done in a friendly, calm, cool yet persistent atmosphere which is just the right blend for learning, in my opinion.Soon enough I started feeling I really understand guitar, and this new kno'ledge even helped me with my bass guitar playing. Ive been taking guitar lessons with Jacon for 6 months and the only downdise I can think of is the fact he moved to California, otherwise I would have still take lessons from him, without a doubt.

I started taking violin lessons on January 2017 from Linda Keen and I've been having a blast. She explains everything about the violin, from holding the bow and instrument, to playing it. She has so much patience and understanding on how everyone learns differently. The atmosphere is so comfortable, which helps me to relax and concentrate on my playing. To really add enjoyment to my lesson, she has played along with me, which gives me a sense of accomplishment. She encourages me to take a song and make it mine. That helps to stretch my accomplishments, which is really fun and challenging. With all of this said, Linda is also a professional violinist, which helps to keep her chops up by playing in a local string band. Anyone that wishes to learn violin, I encourage you to take lessons from Linda. She's the best!

Have started lessons with Chloe just one month back for my 9 year old. My daughter and I love the energy and enthusiasm she brings to each lesson. Her focus on technique is something I really appreciate. My daughter was learning violin for about 2 yrs before coming to studio violin, and just month I can see that her music is sounding better with Chloe's detailed focus on basics and techniques. My kid is loving it so far so thumbs up and highy recommend her!

Michele is a wonderful teacher! I am taking violin lessons after several years of not playing and she is very encouraging. After years of playing classical music, I am enjoying taking lessons to explore other styles of music, such as folk music. She has an extensive background that allows for this kind of exploration.

I am a versatile violinist, with a background in classical, rock, and folk music. I've studied with classical and folk teachers, and am working on a Masters in Violin Performance at SFSU studying under Zak Grafilo, first violinist of the world-class Alexander Quartet. In addition, I write music for my own band, and work as my own manager, promoter, and visual artist. I have experience recording my own music as well as other musician's work. I also play guitar, piano, sing, and dabble on the banjo. As a teacher, I've coached youth rock bands, and taught private lessons to children and adults for many years. I currently work as one of the top teachers at Music N Beyond and Acme Music, teaching violin, piano, and guitar. I also teach private lessons out of my home.

    About

I've always felt that most guitar teachers are somewhat one sided. My curriculum consists of both tablature reading and musical notation. Being very strict on not only what is played but the quality it is being played at. I strive for cleanliness in my own practicing and performing and expect nothing less from my students.
