FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have experience with many kinds of jobs. If I am confident about the expectations asked of me, I will quote a fee by the job, rather than hourly unless my client has other ways he/she want to proceed. I try to be as flexible as possible. I offer writing services, editing, businesses strategies, design work, event planning, too!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen the my clients describe what they need, what they are hoping for and what they dream the outcome of our work together will produce. I ask for examples of designs they like, colors that work for them and other questions designed specifically to give me insight into what they are looking for. Sometimes, clients don't know what they want. I listen, give marketing advice if it is requested and suggest ways for a project to develop. I do ask clients to agree to a contract, so expectations are clear from the start. We discuss my fee or hourly charge and produce a calendar of the project. I have never missed a deadline!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied art and graphic design in college. To stay current, I subscribe to an online training site and watch new videos all the time. The tech world is constantly changing, evolving and getting better so it is important to understand the newest tools.
