My school organization used DJ Dan for our event last Saturday and we HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use his services for your next event. His setup had everything: speakers, mics, lights, and a cool monitor on the front of his booth displaying awesome visual effects that go with the music. He was very flexible to work with out event time frame and his set up and break down was very quick. Besides his awesome DJ skills, he is just an all-around awesome guy and interacted with our guests as well. Everyone enjoyed the event even more thanks to him. He is also a strong supporter for non-profit and charitable events.
Amazing experience with Madison! Wow, I would hire them again in a minute!!! I had my mom's 80th birthday party luncheon planned for a couple of months, and I had a caterer lined up. One week prior to the event, the caterer had a family emergency out of state, and I was left uncertain, unsure, and pulling my hair out. I got in touch with Madison, and within 24 hours, she had sent me a menu that sounded perfect for my event. The day before the event, I got in touch with her because I had several more people let me know that they could make it to the party. She said "No problem, I can just go to the store!" The food was outstanding, everyone raved about the food, and many people asked for her card. She was so efficient, that it went off without a hitch. I'm not even going to look for another caterer...the next event, I'm going to go right back to Sorensen's Smokin' Catering!!! I have her saved on my phone!
Marshecka is an absolute treasure. Words cannot fully describe how grateful my husband and I are to her and her team for the work they put into our wedding. Two months before our DIY wedding I was really feeling the pressure and stress. My husband and I both work full time and were also taking 3 business courses, so the lack of time was really getting to me, to the point where we actually tossed a coin to decide if we should elope instead. We decided to interview a few Day-Of coordinators to get some help, particularly as I was worried about how the actual wedding day itself was going to go. Marshecka blew us away from the first email. She is so professional and courteous. She drove out to us for a meeting at a local coffee shop and stunned us with her organized nature and professional and warm demeanor. We knew right away we would hire her for day-of coordination, which is so much more than just wedding-day coordination. Marshecka immediately sent several questionnaires and to do lists. She kept me on track with all of my planning and preparation (I did pretty much everything myself, including planting all the centerpieces!). About a month before the wedding she took over coordinating with my other vendors and making sure all the friends and family who had special roles knew what they needed to do. She also came to my house for a final meeting to go over every last tiny detail for the rehearsal and the wedding. She even booked my beauty appointments and ordered and put together our wedding favors. Then, CRISIS! Three weeks before the wedding our caterer quit. I was shocked! I felt for sure we would have to get party trays from Costco and have 100 very disgruntled guests. My husband called Marshecka and she instantly jumped on it - she right away started contacting dozens of caterers to obtain quotes from anyone who was still open for our (very popular) date of June 20. Within days she had provided us numerous quotes to review. Crisis averted (and the food was amazing!). At the rehearsal she was fantastic at corralling us and our large wedding party (nine on either side) to rehearse the ceremony 4 times with ease! On the wedding day itself, she and her assistant were incredible. She dropped off some delicious sandwiches to the house where we were getting ready on her way to the venue. She managed all the vendors and setting up the venue, directing the caterers staff where to place the ceremony chairs, and set all the centerpieces out. When I arrived at the venue it looked stunning - better than I had even envisioned (and it was a pretty personalized event)! Marshecka and her assistant looked lovely and were just amazing at keeping the entire day on schedule. It was a complete dream and it absolutely would not have been so amazing without her! Many of our friends have said it was the wedding to beat!
Erika (Cast Your Cares Event Planning) is a true professional planner and an excellent event coordinator. Rosa and I chose Erika to coordinate our wedding and although it was the biggest wedding in town, it certainly had it's challenges and Ms. Erika handled everyone of them like a pro. We could not have been happier with Erika and her work with us and our vendors. Her greatest asset was no more evident and very much on display, the day of our wedding. Wow... Erika was spot on from start to finish, keeping all those involved with our special day, on time and together. From getting my bride's hair and makeup finished (with photos!) and into the limo to the church ON TIME, to making sure all of our guests were enjoying the reception (photos of us at each table), and then keeping us on time leaving the reception and off to our life as husband and wife. Just a well done job all around. I would like to complement Erika on her beautiful decorations for the reception (tables, cake tables, etc,) and her expert management the guest seating chart (which is not and easy chore) .... Rosa and I were so impressed with Erika's work coordinating our wedding, we do plan to chose Cast Your Cares again with upcoming professional and special events (milestone birthdays and charity functions). Erin was great. She helped me transform my boring apartment that I got for work into a nice place. She did it all on a very limited budget and even painted a few pieces of furniture I bought off craigslist now I can resell when I move out and make 3x what I originally paid. All together I would definitely recommend hiring Erin for your interior decorating and even for making purchases. She is responsible and stays on or under budget.
