Hello there, My name is Jonas Blume and I'm here to help you find balance, health, and empowerment. I have a thorough background in energy medicine/reiki and craniosacral therapy. While I can work with a number of ailments, the majority of my clients have come to me for support with Headaches, TMJ, Trauma (often from depression or anxiety), Joint and Back Pain, neural Issues, and issues related to blood circulation. However, many people come to me simply because they want to relax and rebalance. I can help you clear physical and energetic blockages that might be keeping you from reaching your full potential. Furthermore, I can also lead meditations for individuals or groups to help them ground or explore the nervous system. If you've never had Craniosacral Therapy, here's a little background; it's a groundbreaking healing modality which empowers the client by pushing the reset button on their central nervous system so that the the body can reorient to original blueprint of health. It's non-invasive, is done fully clothed, and only five grams of pressure is applied (the weight of a nickel). All of this is done by working with the subtle motion of the bones, the nervous system, and the cerebral spinal fluid. It's a very relaxing and grounding modality which enables clients to better understand the sensations/blockages in their bodies. It's also very supportive of other treatments that a person might be receiving. I've worked directly in conjunction with acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists and indirectly with nutritionists, MD's and psychotherapists. Jonas is one of a kind! I have suffered from joint and muscular pain for years and very few people have been able to help like he has. After a few sessions with Jonas I feel better than I have in a while. He is extremely attentive, focused and centered on you as he works. He has done lots of training and is incredibly devoted to his practice and his clients. Though I don't really understand Craniosacral therapy, I have had this sort of treatment before, but never with the same results. Jonas makes the whole experience really enjoyable by being very relaxed and making you feel comfortable. My muscles go into involuntary spasms, leading to a lot of pain and reduced range of movement; I have had these problems for my whole life. After a few sessions I can feel how they are gradually relaxing and recovering their range of movement, so will keep on coming back to Jonas. Couldn't recommend him more!

I've received craniosacral therapy on and off for the past several years, and with my last therapist leaving the Bay Area, I was in need of a new one. If you've never had craniosacral or heard much about it, it's a very subtle technique that comes out of osteopathy that monitors the subtle movement of joints and various fluids of the spine. It's very complicated, and requires a highly skilled practitioner. I'm glad to report that Jonas' work is excellent! It might be because he only practices craniosacral therapy that he is so skilled at it. It's almost eerie receiving the work actually, because you feel things changing without knowing exactly what they are. Jonas is probably the best of all the craniosacral therapists I've worked with!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first session is $127 for an intake/consult and 60-70 minutes of table work. All following sessions are $103 for a 60 minutes of table work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll take some time to get to know about your background and health. This gives me an idea of what I might expect to come across while you're on the table so that I can better serve you. We might do a meditation or two to help you work with your central nervous system. This whole process typically takes 20-30 minutes. After that, we'll move to the massage table for about 60-70 minutes. Afterwards, we'll take 5-10 minutes to discuss the findings and figure out a plan to address the support you need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a practitioner certification from the Luminous Awareness Institute, a 500 hour course on energy medicine and I am a certified biodynamic craniosacral therapist from Body Intelligence, a 700 hour course. I spent three years working for Body Intelligence as a TA by assisting new students and offering them feedback on their homework and direction in their studies. In addition to these certificates I have taken multiple workshops with other teachers of craniosacral therapy, energy healing, and studied Reiki. What is fundamental to my ability to do this work are the several years I spent in South East Asia studying meditation.
