FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because I am growing my clientele and portfolio you'll find my rate is on the lower side compared to others in the area. I will always keep you apprised of how much time I expect a project to take, and am more than happy to work on projects room by room, so that we can get a sense of working together and know if we're a good match.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would first have a (free) phone consultation to discuss your project and what you are hoping to achieve. If it seems like we are a good fit, we would meet in person at your home/the space to discuss the project, and I would take measurements and give initial feedback. From there we can decide whether you'd prefer to receive concept designs for a full re-design (usually I provide 3); or, we can take a more ad hoc approach where we discuss individual finishes/furniture that you can add in to what you already have to create a more composed look.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I do not have formal training in the design industry, I have been working to support an experienced kitchen and bathroom designer for nearly 8 years, picking up many tips and tools of the trade during that time. In addition, this has always been a personal hobby of mine, that I am now expanding into rewarding work.
