I hired AMG Doors & Windows for new doors and paid a deposit of $3,693.75. Based on our conversations, texts, and emails, I expected a clear timeline, but I experienced repeated delays, shifting explanations (“busy time,” “custom doors,” vague February timing), and what felt like a runaround. After several attempts to get firm information, I asked to cancel the order before the doors were shipped and requested a full refund. I was told I would only receive the labor portion back, even though no doors have been delivered and no installation has been done. After I shared my experience online, I received messages threatening a defamation lawsuit, curbside delivery of the doors to my home, and a mechanic’s lien, despite there being no work performed at my property. As of today, they are still holding my $3,693.75, and I have no doors and no service. This has been a very negative experience for me, and I would not choose to work with this company again. I have a video assessment from another installer evaluating the doors they ordered for my project.
