Acting Lessons with The Bonfire Makers

Introduction: We are Sonia and Melissa, co-founders of the Oakland based theater company, The Bonfire Makers. We hold B.F.A.s, in acting and theater arts respectively, from Boston University. We specialize in college audition prep but also coach everyone from professional actors to folks wanting to learn a little more about acting for fun! We are passionate about acting and we believe in the transformative power of storytelling. We will help you broaden your acting tool kit. We will utilize techniques such as Grotovsky based physical theatre technique, Linklater vocal technique, Alexander technique, and many others to help you deepen your work as an actor, get the role, get into the school of your dreams, or whatever your goal as a performer may be.
