I offer one-on-one outdoor training for adults who want to feel stronger, more coordinated, and more confident — without the gym environment.
Sessions combine strength training, boxing and kickboxing pad work, and traditional martial movement. Training is fully personalized and paced to support long-term progress, not burnout.
I work with beginners through experienced students and focus on quality coaching, safety, and consistency. This is not a bootcamp or group fitness class — sessions are individualized and adapted to the person.
Sessions are held outdoors in the East Bay (Alameda–Berkeley).

I’ve had an awesome experience with Coach Vince. I’ve been taking kick boxing lessons with him for a few years now and still have so much fun. Even though I'm not an experienced kick boxer, he's always very patient and has taught me many skills. His combination of strength training and kick boxing techniques keeps it interesting and I feel like I get a great work out after each session. Definitely recommend his classes!

Vince is extremely knowledgeable and patient and the classes are challenging but fun. Nothing but good vibes. Couldn't ask for a better kickboxing instructor!

Training with Oakland Kickboxing has been a really great experience. It’s both welcoming and challenging. I’ve gotten much more personalized feedback from Coach Vince than anywhere else I’ve trained.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private sessions are $120 per hour.
I offer package options for clients who want to train consistently, which reduces the per-session rate. Sessions are by appointment and paid in advance. I keep pricing straightforward — no hidden fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a short conversation about your goals, experience level, and what you’re looking for — fitness, technique, stress relief, or a mix. From there, I design a session that fits you. Some clients want detailed technical feedback; others prefer a more flow-based workout. I adjust my coaching style accordingly and evolve the sessions as we go.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a fourth degree black belt in Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo. I trained and competed with the Oakland Sanshou Team and have taught as a striking coach at UFC Gym and as head kickboxing coach at Guardian Gym in Oakland. I have also trained formally in Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and I'm TRX certified.
