I highly recommend GreenTree and Sidney!! Coordinating piano lessons and other artistic endeavors with Sidney was an effortlesss and pleasant task. He made it happen and initiated some remarkable lessons. GreenTree is on speed dial for our next visit to OC.

Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about how much my kids and I enjoy taking piano lessons from Ms.Edna. She always greets us with her beautiful smile and makes us feel at ease even before the lesson starts. I have observed first hand that she has a love for music and teaching as well as a strong education in music theory. I would like to point out that she is very patient, gives positive reinforcement, and always gives great feedback. I really appreciate the fact that she can be flexible if need be with scheduling and unprecedented conflicts. I highly recommend Ms.Edna for children as well as adults as myself. Her personality and teaching methods are compatible with all age groups and experience levels :)

Anna is a very passionate and talented teacher and musician. After attending a recent recital, I was very impressed with how well her students play and with how she interacts and teaches them. My daughter is too young for lessons currently, but I am looking forward to the day when Anna can become her teacher.

Eric is an awesome teacher of life and music. He is able to incorporate his knowledge of many instruments into teaching whatever genre you're most interested in learning. He has a classical foundation but his lessons are a REALLY great time. If you're looking for laughter, fun, and a good teacher, he's your GUY.

I enjoy teaching at B&H because the students and I have a private studio with air conditioning. I don't have to dodge traffic jams on the 5 or the 78 which cause delay in the schedule. There is plenty of parking in back of the store and the parents can do errands while the kids have a music lesson. If the students need reeds or new method books, the parents can purchase everything at the store. I teach all ages and all levels and I believe everyone can achieve on a musical instrument. Learning under Ian was a fantastic experience. He taught me how to play "Lean on Me" and "My Type" by Saint Motel in just two hours. I had an incredible time in my sessions and would recommend his services to anyone.

Joey has been instructing my son in alto, baritone and tenor sax for four years. He is a thoughtful, talented, professional and dedicated teacher. He understands his students needs and tailors his lessons to suit them. With regular practice and excellent coaching my sons playing has improved tremendously. I would highly recommend Joey to anyone considering music lessons - youth or adult.

I've been receiving alto sax lessons from Dave for a few months, and I feel my understanding for the instrument and music in general has been greatly broadened. Each lesson he reveals something I didn't even know I didn't know about playing. His good humored wisdom and wit, paired with stories of a lifetime spent in love with music, create a safe, comfortable environment to deepen inspiration and growth.

Chris is an incredible musician and human being with whom I have the privilege to work with regularly. His knowledge in music is as deep as it is broad, and his skill on both the saxophone and keys is impressive. We've performed on several tours together, and we collaborate in the studio fairly often as well - another area where he has great expertise. I highly recommend Chris for your musical needs!!

Mr. Graf was my very first music teacher. Amazing man. He encouraged me to explore multiple instruments, and made learning to play, read, and make music exciting and fun. I will never forget his passion, energy, and his awesome hair

About

My name is Benjamin Rodriguez. I am an expert music teacher specializing in teaching flute, clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn (euphonium), tuba, violin, cello, piano, organ and synthesizer. I also specialize in both classical and contemporary popular music. I have been a professional music teacher since 1989 and have taught in various school districts throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. I have been directing school bands and orchestras to superior ratings at music festivals and regional competitions. My specialty is teaching elementary school, middle school, and high school age students. I believe that learning the basic fundamentals of music, such as scales, arpeggios, and method studies are at the core of guiding my students to becoming professional musicians themselves. Many of my students have gone on to become leaders on their own musical field, musical projects, music productions and ensemble groups, not only at a teaching level but also at a performance and professional level as well.
