I've had a number of ballet instructors over the years and I can say with confidence that Mindy is a truly gifted teacher. She's totally devoted to sharing her vast knowledge about ballet and the human body. At the same time, she's meticulous, challenging, kind, and encouraging, a rare and invaluable combination in a ballet instructor. Her adult beginner ballet class has something substantial to offer to dancers at all levels.
With an upcoming wedding I wanted to learn to dance with my husband. We were beginners but with Nadiiya's excellent teaching we can now dance cha cha , swing and foxtrot. Nadiya's lessons are always fun and she takes time to explain the steps, the technical aspects , answers questions and demonstrates. Nadiya is a professional dancer and extremely talented. I highly recommend Nadiya as a dance teacher - she has made two non dancers love dancing!
Katie and Shawn are the best teachers I have ever had, in any subject. I attended California Institute of the Arts and had some awesome teachers. Still, they are the best. It's the way they handle the fundamentals that set them apart. Think Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid, only for dance. I'm a beginner. I was not in the Cal Arts dance school. They instinctively can find your strong and weak points. Instinct, experience, enthusiasm, and hard work, I surmise. Anyway they made it doable for me. I appreciate it. A lifetime of dance for a small fee. We'll worth it.
Shyrelle has been working with my daughter for about a month now. My daughter needed hip hop & jazz lessons so that she could perform in her talent show at summer camp as well as try out for the dance team next year. I've seen her vastly improve in such a short time. Shyrelle implements discipline & fun & is so great with teens. Highly recommended!
Mark was an amazing teacher with great energy! I hired Mark for a Salsa lesson for my birthday party. Mark was amazing, being able to teach the people in my small group who some never danced Salsa, some have danced casually in their own Latin country, and some who have taken basic lessons before. He was able to help the beginners while still being able to challenge the ones who were more familiar. Mark's energy, patience, and professionalism is what made my party. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.
Charla was my Salsa teacher when I was new to the scene. I really mean it when I say that she cares so much about her students and she's truly dedicated to helping them learn. She knows her stuff when it comes to Salsa and even has lots of wise tips to offer to new comers. Ladies, just ask her for a demonstration on what to do of you fall down. Lol don't tell her I told you! I was really sad to see her leave our studio as she's not an excellent teacher, but a wonderful friend. I know that whatever studio she teaches at now will be great, because she's awesome!
Artemi was my best instructor. He showed me the basic steps, literally from scratch. Rumba, Salsa were my favorites. He helped me to feel confident with myself and come back the next day. We combined a bit of theoretical with practice. Since the First day he made feel like I was the best dancer.
Kendra is an amazing instructor. She is very patient and friendly when it comes to beginners.
Rebecca Halls was my yoga teacher regularly for 2 years from 2012-2014. I found her early in my yoga practice, and I attribute all of my progress to her guidance and teaching. She has every quality of a superlative yoga teacher. Rebecca is above all a supportive and inspirational mentor. She radiates positivity and encouragement, while at the same time provides clear and precise instruction. Even in a class setting, she engages with students on a one-to-one level. I appreciated her emphasis on the subtleties of each posture. I felt it was through these details I could really improve my practice. Having had many other wonderful teachers since Rebecca, I can say that she ranks right up there at the top. Her passion for what she does is infectious and I felt lucky to be her student. I think anyone else, beginner or advanced student, would feel the same.
I have been taking Argentine Tango lessons from Avi for four months. He is a very good instructor. He shares his knowledge and passion for the dance with the students. The group classes begin with the basics and move into learning many of the steps. It's fun and great exercise for the body and mind!
My fiancee and I were looking for a teacher to teach us to dance for our first dance at our wedding. My beloved had NEVER been a dancer and was also reluctant to dance in front of others. We were very lucky to find Sarah. From our very first lesson, it was clear that she is abundantly gifted, easy to work with and perfectly charming. Each lesson with her was a highlight of our week; she taught us very quickly and effectively, kept our lessons fun and light, and gave us exactly what was within our skill set and comfort level. Sarah has a lovely manner and having seen her with students before and after our lesson time; we observed that Sarah is able to tailor EACH lesson to each student. Every dance looked different and simply perfect for the particular student/couple. Our wedding just passed and our friends were impressed, entertained and delighted with our 'performance' and we look forward to continuing our lessons with Sarah now that my beloved and I have the dancing 'bug'! I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Sarah and he teaching style; she has quite a lot of satisfied students and it is easy to see why that's the case.
The dancing lesson I received was very fun! From scheduling to the lesson itself, everything was professional and easy for me to set up. I appreciated the relaxed setting; it made a newbie like me feel at ease. My boyfriend and I are both beginner dancers, but we were able to pick everything up thanks to Elisa's instruction. She's an excellent teacher and I would definitely recommend Ballroom Pulse to anyone looking for a high quality (yet affordable) lesson.
