Renova Builders really live up to all the 5 star reviews! Thomas came out to do the estimate for new exterior stairs, repainting a deck, and repairing some deck posts that had dry rot at the base. He checked in often and was always available by phone if any issues came up. When they started the deck and stairs job they found some damage to the deck support beams we couldn't see until the stairs were removed. Thomas gave us several options and after we decided on new wood for the deck, too, the job progressed quickly and smoothly. Ivan, the foreman, kept the crew working and he kept in constant communication with me to handle issues as they came up. When the job was done, the owner, Omri, and Ivan did the final walk through with us to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. Stephanie at the Renova office handled phone calls and emails with us and was very responsive to any questions that came up. Renova Builders have a very efficient and quality team, they do excellent work, and we highly recommend them!

I HAD A HOUSE FIRE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! I DID AND IT WAS A NIGHTMARE !!! One of his workers broke my brand new refrigerator. It never worked again and I had to replace it. They also placed a range hood without ANY ceiling support. No insulation and poor support in my bathroom tub. The list goes on and one .OMRI CAME INTO MY YELLING, SCREAMING AND THREATENING ME. DONT USE THIS COMPANY- YOU WILL REGRET IT. I HAD A HOUSE FIRE WHILE HE WAS WORKING ON MY HOUSE. WHILE THE FIRE INVESTIGATION WASNT SURE IF HIS CREW STARTED IT.. THE INVESTIGATION DID NOT EXCLUDE HIS WORK EITHER. The range hood that they installed didnt work properly. The day before the house fire I informed Omri and his crew that the range hood didnt seem to be installed properly. They didnt try to resolve the issue at all.The next day a fire started. And dont believe these positive reviews. Some pictures may not be from his company. JUST DONT DO IT- LOOK AT THE YELP REVIEWS.... TOO MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS SAYING THE SAME THING.

These complaints and accusations are completely untrue! Renova Builders remodeled this kitchen many years ago. After we completed of all the work, but before you paid the remaining balance, your house caught fire. As you know, your insurance company did a complete and thorough investigation and confirmed that Renova Builders was in no way responsible for the fire. You refused to pay the balance that was owed to Renova Builders, therefore, we had to file a legal suit. Renova Builders obtained a judgement against you, and you still have not paid for the judgment...all because Renova Builders is enforcing you to pay for the work that we completed correctly and up to code.

We have an unpermitted 2nd-story deck which we wanted to bring up to code, or remove. We were so grateful for our meeting with Thomas. He was thoughtful, observant, practical, and very knowledgeable. He was very direct about the fact that bringing it up to code would take a significant amount of time and money, and (based on our plans to convert our house to a rental) quickly reviewed a few other options we might investigate, knowing that at least one of those options would mean using a low-skilled lower-cost alternative.As an aside, he was also great about taking a few moments to gently introduce himself to our dog so the dog was comfortable.I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
