Stephanie wonderful and she is helping me and my husband get over this dreaded hump in our marriage. She gives a safe space and a neutral environment that allows for us both to be comfortable.
I really can't state strongly enough how terrific Kelli is. She has helped our family emensley over the past year. I've been to several therapists and Kelli is hands down the best. She has been professional and accommodating as well as helpful and sympathetic and she has helped me personally navigate some of the roughest times in my life. Kelli has listened and born witnes in our sessions and she has also gone above and beyond in helping us find effective and creative solutions -- Tools that we can carry into our lives outside her office.
I am a parent of an adult child who has suffered from addiction and depression. During a time when we were at a complete loss as he was floundering in and out of multiple rehabs, doctors, and overdoses we hired Christina prior to her licensing to personally assist us as as companion and caretaker for our son. As a parent I felt confident and had trust that he was in good hands. Christina worked with the entire family to make changes, set boundaries, learn communication skills and helped our son build accountability for his own life.
Ana was extremely knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and overall very helpful in improving my parenting skills and relationship with my daughter. She is also a wonderful person who truly cares about the families she works with and is driven by her passion and sincere desire to help others. I highly recommend her to all families, even those who may think they don’t have any problems!
Rose Rigole changed my family's life. Rose not only helped my husband and I discover new meaning in our relationship but gave us the tools to overcome the everyday roadblocks marriages find themselves up against. These tools have helped us keep our love the main focus and not on the distractions life throws us which at the moment seem so important. Ethical, diplomatic and caring, her approach never made either of us feel like the "bad guy".
Ryan is an absolutely outstanding individual. I have had the pleasure of knowing him for the past 8 years and I now have the honor of calling him a trusted colleague. Ryan's ethics and integrity are above reproach and his diligence is exceptional. He is one of the most caring, kind individuals I have ever met. When he has come to me seeking counsel, often I find that it is he who has helped me more than I think I was able to assist him. I would not hesitate to refer my own friends, family, or clients to him.
Lydia is amazingly intuitive, knowledgeable and compassionate therapist. Every time I've referred her clients they have called me to thank me for helping them find her. She's definitely my go to person when someone I know needs a female therapist.
Mimi is the absolute best. She helped us so much! She got right down to business, listened, provided feedback, and did not drag our sessions. Highly recommend her!
My partner and I could not have found a better fit! Our relationship was getting very strained until we started counseling here. Our relationship has truly taken a 180. We are so happy to have found our counselor, Adriana. 10/10 would recommend.
Shirley is a wonderful counselor - compassionate, non-judgmental, caring and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her for your counseling needs.
Plinio was an amazing instructor. And the Breakthrough Parenting course was spot on. The "One on One" instruction was perfect for me and there was no question, issue, scenario etc. that Plinio couldn't handle. Best prep for a single Dad. Would totally recommend any first time or experienced parent to take the course so you have a better foundation to be a parent and raise a happy, healthy and well adjusted child.
I have worked with hospice, helping individuals and families entering their end of life transition. I have found that by paying particular attention to the steps of grief, people can continue to grow and build healthy relationships even while coming to terms with a terminal illness. It is important for everyone to be able to break through old patterns to say what needs to be said. I have since transitioned to working with individuals with eating disorders, which reflect other underlying issues and trauma. I assisted many clients replace self-destructive behaviors (eating disorders, self-harm, substance abuse, and other maladaptive coping skills) with acceptance and self-love. I believe therapy can benefit everyone who sincerely wishes to see a change in his or her life. Appropriate therapy can relieve feelings of distress, increase satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, create skills for managing anxiety, and help grow greater personal awareness and insight. Difficult changes have no specific design, but with help, you can learn from them, grow with them, and be better because of them.
I am passionate about healthy marriages and thriving relationships, so I most enjoy working with dating, engaged, and married couples. I teach each couple how to assertively ask for what they want and need, how to communicate effectively by allowing their partner to feel safe, and how to resolve conflict in a constructive way that respects, rather than wounds, one another. If you are facing challenging circumstances in your relationship, I believe these can be an opportunity to strengthen your connection with your partner and draw you closer together, instead of driving you apart. For dating and engaged couples, I am a certified facilitator for the prepare/enrich program and recommend couples considering marriage to complete this valuable instrument. We use your data to identify strengths and growth areas, as well as explore opinions about core issues in marriage to find agreement and negotiate differences. I offer day, evening, and weekend sessions, as well as a free phone consultation to briefly discuss your situation and answer any questions you have as you evaluate options for counseling.

Often, when people seek therapy, they are feeling their most vulnerable. I look forward to welcoming you into a warm and safe place. Together, we'll explore what is getting in the way of your being in the world the way you want to be. In addition to my training and experience as a therapist, the gifts of my life experience inform my work as a psychotherapist/MFT. I moved into the formal practice of psychotherapy, having journeyed through a number of prior professions, including education-teacher and school principal, executive search partner in a small firm and international development-leading projects in the Middle East and the Balkans. I'm in private practice. I have lived and/or worked in the Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Israel, the West Bank, Pakistan, Croatia, Macedonia, and Bosnia. Living in different cultures taught me to embrace difference rather than to feel threatened by it. So, in my practice, I welcome individuals from whatever background, nationality, and ethnicity with whatever life choices you have made and whatever beliefs you may hold. I specialize in counseling individuals, couples and families -- couples (straight and lesbian/gay), parents/children, middle-age children and their aging parents and individual men and women. Always, the key relationship is your relationship with yourself as this is what creates the base from which you move in the world and in relationship to others.
GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THERAPY Whatever your problem, challenge, trauma or pain, the power to change exists within you. I believe an effective therapists job is to support your shift, not to create it for you. Being with clients session after session, I find the persons who have positive movement are the ones who show up every week seeking collaborative solutions and try them out between sessions. Whether youre familiar with the therapy experience, or just hoping to find a place to provide some helpful solutions during a difficult time, I can help you make your desired shifts. Together, we can mutually create a safe space to discover new ways of looking at things and make progress toward your goals and desires.
