Sevina is intelligent, warm, personable, and approachable. When she told me about her new program, I gave it a try. I had so much fun! I tend to have a difficult time dancing free-form in front of people, so I was nervous to attend because of that. But the combination of yoga, muscle relaxation, and the energy that she herself exuded, made me realize that it was just about fun and letting go, and she has you close your eyes while you dance, so I didn't have a problem with it like I thought I would. The muscle relaxation aspect was great too- I used to do that as a swimmer when I was younger and it's a comfortable and efficient way to release tension you don't even realize you've got. This program is perfect for those of us type A personalities or the busy people who don't realize they are as burdened as they are because it's not long but it gets the job done well!

On the first Saturday of every month, Sevina Altanova comes to the Center for Spiritual Living Pleasant Valley, at 221 Daily Drive, Suite 1, Camarillo, CA, from 11 AM to 12 PM. Sevina has created a program based on Easy Relax which is a system that combines Dancing, Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PRM) and Meditation. One of the things I like the most, is that when I come to the class, Sevina is already there and everything is setup, from the music to the incense. This morning Sevina started the class with stretches and some mat work. Then she put on dancing music to get us moving. Sevina came up to each of us and danced with us individually. Once we had danced, Sevina then lead us in tension relaxation movements. She helps us learn to identify tense muscles and then she leads us in relaxing those muscles. In this way, she is guiding each of us to learn to identify when muscles in our bodies are tense. She then shows us that we can relax and let go of those tense muscles on our own. Sevina ended the class with a guided meditation, which was very calming. It was a wonderful class. Sevina's enthusiasm and encouragement helped me keep moving. She cares about each student. She helped me get the most from each section of the class. I'm appreciate Sevina and the opportunity she gives me to relax and feel better about myself. --- Marcia B.

Working with Sevina is easy and relaxing; it is more like playing. She is very positive, dedicated, and enthusiastic, and lots of wisdom to share. I always leave feeling refreshed, inspired, happy and looking forward to the next session.
