Beach Bum Sweets serves the passion of four generations of bakers with every treat we create. Time and experience have given us some incredible treats and we have decided it is time to share them with the world, one bite at a time. I love being able to be creative with each different creation, whether it be a cake, cupcake, cake pop, brownie or pie. But most of all I like the look on people's faces when they see what I have created and how it means so much to them. I love being able to share my love and passion with everyone I meet, one treat at a time.

This is my first time working with Gaby. I was taking a risk as the cake I ordered was for a dinner party for 12 adult, half of whom are amazing home chefs and two are professionally trained chefs. A friend got a job at Google and so, to surprise him, I ordered this cake (pics) for the party. Gaby was easy AND pleasant to communicate with. She made me a coconut pineapple flavored cake with rainbow layered inside to match the google colors. The crowd, 12 adults and 11 kids went crazy with how beautiful the cake was. Lots and lots of photos later, we finally got to taste it and suddenly the room got quiet. everyone kept shaking their heads with their eyes closed. The cake was so delicious, there was no sound for like 30 seconds. Gaby, I will be hiring you again and again. My friends asked for your contact info. Thank you for such an amazing cake that more than pleased my chef friends and the kids!

Gaby was great! I put in an order for a wedding cake for tomorrow because Thumbtack didn't have a birthday cake option, and didn't have same day option, but I clearly stated "need a birthday cake TODAY." (previously set up deal fell through). She came through with flying colors! She did it for a great price and drove to the party and delivered the cake herself, without charging a delivery fee. I tipped her extra for that and you will want to do the same. Annoying that Thumbtack doesn't allow for picture upload on reviews. I ordered a birthday cake for a team member one day before the birthday. I was worried about if it can be delivered on time. It turns out it did, and the cake is exactly what I asked, less suger, with bird and words. People loved it!

I am ecstatic about Beachbum Sweets. The cake I wanted was magnificent. It was delivered on time and when we opened the box everyone was just amazed. Gaby is a fantastic baker and decorator. We've hired Gaby to make delicious cake pops for a variety of events. Whether the football-shaped pops for the super bowl or the mustache-shaped pops for another occasion, the pops are both delicious and impressive. Every time we've served them at a party, they get rave reviews from all the guests. We'll definitely continue to use Gaby for events in the future.

I have 2 degrees in hospitality/culinary arts. I have been baking since I was 5. All of the experience I have in this line of work is most impacted by my experience through a number of different avenues.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm the fourth generation of my family of bakers.
