Pete came to help us start to change the behavior of a rather "active" Min-Pin rescue we adopted about 6 weeks ago. His quiet and calm demeanor and knowledge of what creates a dogs behavior was most impressive... He worked with us and made some recommendations for training equipment ( collars, etc.) Almost immediately we noticed a change in Paddy's attitude, and we are working with him with the recommendations provided by Pete. Paddy went from a snarling, snapping dog to a much calmer and relaxed state. We are not there yet, and will enlist Pete for a further follow up and reinforcement of how WE as owners are doing. If you are committed to changing g your dog's behavior, I would highly recommend Pete.
Courtney is one heck of an amazing trainer! She is not only wonderful with dogs, but she also has an incredible talent for working with people, too. She will help you to understand your dog's behaviors and she emphasizes fixing problematic behaviors instead of just managing them. I can't recommend her enough for anything from puppy training to advanced obedience and fear-based behaviors.
Tammy is a wonderful dog trainer! I have had my dog for three years now. In the first year of adopting my dog from rescue center; he had a lot of anxiety and bark non- stop. In about seven months with working with the techniques Tammy would suggest he no longer barks when I'm not home. I encourage and recommend Tammy as your dog trainer . She has a lot of knowledge on the psychology of dog behavior , and you will see your dog have major improvements.
My dog was too much with her behavior but with him redirecting us and working with her and showing us how to work with her make her behavior change and slowly becoming a better dog thanks to Logan. :) Will use him again if we need his help. Awesome dog whisperer.
I recently adopted two mature, medium-sized dogs from Southern California. After hearing lots of horror stories from the previous owner regarding how they behaved, I was nervous about them being a good fit. After a chance meeting with Les in a parking lot, I called to see if he would help me with assessing their behavior and work on socializing them with other dogs. I couldn't be happier with the results. His guidance lead ME to higher levels of confidence which has lead to our being relaxed and confident with having them out in public settings as well as with the neighborhood dogs and children.
John is very knowledgeable about the psychology of dogs and he came to our house to show us how to deal with the specific problems we were having at home. Taking our dog out to another trainer was not addressing our specific behavior problems at home. John is very nice and caring of our dog and we have been very happy with his dog training. He has given us the tools that we need to work on our dogs behavior and let our dog be an active member of our family.
Susan is a true lover of dogs as well as taking her career seriously and keeping abreast of all the most up to date information on dog health. I feel Susan cares for my Ariel as if she was her own and that gives me great peace of mind.
Christina had an affinity for animals and they love her. Our pup looks forward to her walks, kisses, and love. Thank you for taking care of our fur baby as if he was your own!
My rescue Astro, an Australian Shepherd/Akita/Husky mix, is naturally dominant, and fearful/anxious of almost everything. Rusty's knowledge and hands-on experience truly shine with these issues and breeds. Always professional, Rusty is flexible with working around our schedules. We have completed over 15 hours of training with Rusty. After an initial meet n' greet and one session, Rusty immediately had a good feel for Astro's fears and was able to pinpoint root causes. He provided in depth lessons for both me AND Astro. Much of the training is teaching us humans proper technique for recognition, prevention, and reaction to behaviors. Therefore, the true work starts at home, with the owners post lesson. Rusty has provided me with the tools I needed to become a genuine leader for my dog. I've learned SO much and cannot be more grateful to his dedication and patience. Rusty goes above and beyond EVERY time he meets with us, and I've never been disappointed. He provides a plethora of resources, even outside our training hours via email; from printable PDFs for your fridge, to recommended toys and dog food, to articles on a variety of topics! He will answer any questions you can throw at him, and if he isn't sure, he'll do in depth research to find the best answer! You name it, Rusty will provide solutions and advice. I've seen VAST improvements in my dog's behavior over the past few months! Consistency and dedication to your pet at home is key, for sure. However, we could not have done it without Rusty's guidance, and I could not be more happy with the tools and training he has provided us. I highly recommend Pawgress to all! Excellent job, keep up the great work! All our thanks! ~ RoxAnne & Astro
Superb knowledge of canines and near intuitive anticipation of a dog's behavior. He also loves and respects animals.
Krystal is absolutely amazing. I knew she as a great fit right from our initial communication and confirmed during our first meeting and subsequent visits. She has a true love for animals and it show in her work. I'll definitely be contacting Krystal again for future pet sitting needs.
She took care of Scrappy my 14 year old Cat. I really appreciate how caring she is because he is getting older and sometimes throws up. I think she is a genuine person and animal lover. I would highly recommend her
Erika takes excellent care of my cats. She always sends pictures or videos and status updates when she is watching them. They seem happier and calmer when I get home than they have when I used other cat sitters. She follows care instructions well, is very easy to schedule with and her rates are competitive. She's clearly an animal lover!
Audrey is amazing! So loving and kind with animals and very responsible. She is a total people and animal person. You can depend on her to take care of your animals with peace of mind knowing that she will care for them like she cares for her own
Anne is fabulous. She is dependable and super flexible with our schedule. I would highly recommend Anne for all your pet sitting needs. Our fur baby LOVES Anne. She is always so happy to see her which makes us feel great. Anne has also taken care of her when we were away. It gives us such a peace of mind knowing our girl is so well taken cared of. Anne is great. She is loving, sweet and loves the animals that are in her care. She is our go to person and we love having her take care of our precious girl. You will not go wrong with Anne.
I've been working with Sabrielle for almost two years now. I wouldn't trust my dogs with anyone else. She knows how to inspire the right behavior. My dogs love her. I've referred her to many. Call her now!
John has been walking our lab pup for months now, and sending her off with him a few mornings a week was the best decision we ever made. This is my first dog ever, and John has been great at guiding me through dog ownership. He is extremely professional and has spent a tremendous amount of time educating himself on the ins and outs of dog behavior and training, and his hard work and attention has paid off for our dog. She loves going with him and his crew, and we love the results! She is healthy and happy and better trained than we ever could have gotten her to be without John's help. He has a FB page that he updates each night, with photos from the day's activities, so we have proof of the fun adventures our girl is having. I am beyond grateful for having found John and ABC Dogs!
Stoakly, had issues with leash pulling, attentiveness and general obedience. After working with Keynoe with his 3 week transformative program, Stoakly is a completely different dog! Listens to basic commands when we walk and is so much calmer. We even had the opportunity to hang out with other dogs at the local park - the dogs got along so well and Keynoe managed all their behaviors at once. I was really impressed by how easy Keynoe is to work with, his professionalism and flexibility when working with me and Stoakly 1:1. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for help with training and even if you just want a fun and reliable friend for your dog.
I have a 14 year old chow-mix named J-Jay. I wanted Becky to walk him when I was working 10 hour shifts. For a couple of weeks. At first I was worried that he wouldn't like her. (he gets very moodie) But he took to her right away. Now that I am not working 10 hour shifts anymore I still have Becky walk him here and there so he can be very open to meeting new people and dogs. I would recommend Becky because she is kind and loving to animals and even their owners.
We were concerned about our dog Lola and her anxious behaviors. We contacted Lea and we are so glad we did! Lea is kind, caring and understanding. She took the time to get to know our dog, Lola. She is experienced and really helped us to gain a better understanding of how to help Lola with her issues. She gave us strategies to work on before our next session. She said if we have any issues or questions to let her know so she can help us work through it with Lola. We definitely recommend Lea, without a doubt!
