- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
From the customer's perspective, the single most important quality to look for in a real estate professional is that of being on-the-ball. Everyone ties into the MLS. Everyone has access to many of the same tools. Everyone uses basically the same forms. But not everyone is on-the-ball. That single quality makes all the difference in the world and that single quality makes the difference between a mediocre or average real estate professional and one who is truly exemplary, who will get you the kind of results that others will not. To determine whether someone is on-the-ball, simply gauge your own experience with that person. Does he or she respond promptly to your messages? Are your questions answered in a way that is conscientious and straightforward? Does the person come across as knowledgeable, professional and courteous? Only a small minority of people in any field are truly on-the-ball. As long as you have person like that working on your behalf, everything else will fall into place.
