Marv is the first organizer I have ever hired and i couldn't be any luckier in my choice. When I contacted her, I had only 2 days to completely empty out my apartment and move out. She quickly responded to my inquiries (she was very timely the entire time), asked me a few questions about the condition of my apartment. She informed me about her consultation service and I liked it. From that moment on she took charge of everything. First she came in to check the condition of the apartment (30mins visit). She was smart and quick. She noticed things that had to be done. She listened to everything I said very carefully, patiently. The next day she came in. Her attitude was chill and cool the entire time. She was working fast and knew what to do. At one point I stopped worrying and decided to leave everything up to her. She seemed to me like a very trustworthy person and I wasn't mistaken. I had to leave my apartment before she had gotten done with everything. I let her work in there by herself, paid her and left. When I came back everything was perfectly done just like I told her before i left. She saved my time, my money, organized people for me and came up with solutions. Working with Chapin and Daughter is not only affordable, it has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. We hired Arash to help with the design and layout of our new company office (13,000 square feet). Working within our tenant improvement allowance, he helped us select everything from carpet, laminate, base, paint and furniture layout. So far we have had two - 2 hour meetings and we are very close to completion. Arash is extremely easy to work with and provides humor along the way. Very professional and always on time. Patrick installed our new microwave oven. He had to cut some of our wall tile to complete the install. Home Depot was originally going to complete the install, but said they could not cut the tile. So glad Patrick was able to get the project completed in about 2 hours. He was knowledgable and professional. We would definitely hire him again. Thanks Patrick!

Wow -- working with Shara was absolutely transformational! May I give more stars, please?? I had never worked with a professional organizer before and had my doubts about if it would really be necessary / worth it. (Frankly, my boyfriend was the one pushing it.) OMG BEST MONEY SPENT. Honestly, looking back, I have no idea how we would have managed without her. My boyfriend and I decided to move in together (into my "cozy" bungalow -- that has limited storage.) I had lived there for 5 years previously by myself (and had the place chock full of my stuff) and he was coming from a large house with lots of extra space. Shara helped us cull through our individual belongings and integrate our space and our lives seamlessly. I especially love the way she maximized our closets, my jewelry drawer, his shoe situation (lots of big man shoes!), and my whole office. She helped make our transition into living together peaceful and fun, which really set the tone for this exciting new phase in our relationship. It was especially impactful considering that my boyfriend could only take off limited time from a new job and I had a week-long trip out of the country in the middle of the move. Shara went the extra mile to help me completely re-work a cabinet in my office that I had not-so-lovingly nicknamed "cabinet of shame" into "cabinet of joy". And helped me re-work paper clutter from incoming mail, various work projects, you name it... I have a whole new process now. She's non-judgmental of messes and whatever your issues with "stuff" might be. With calm tenacity she just doesn't stop until the job is complete to the highest standard. No detail was too small; she was always scanning for little details to put here or there to improve the flow of the space and keep it beautiful. I'm deeply grateful to have worked with Shara.
