Bruce was the best. He was ON TIME!!! He had a long commute with traffic, but still called and made it. He kept his promise to the $$ amount he quoted me. Even when I did not have the right sink/part, he came to the Home Depot with me to get/advise of the things I needed. Even when Home Depot, didnt have what I needed, he called a local contractors only store and they had exactly what I needed. He was very neat, clean, friendly and professional, but most of all, HONEST!! Price was great, The only down side....There is so much more I want him to do now Im not sure where to begin. I will use him again and refer him to others.
Mr Manny Davila did a job a few weeks ago involving part of the drainage and main line on one of my properties. I am very satisfy with the work performance and outcomes of the job, he has a great personality. Elvira Flores
John is a great handyman. He's extremely professional and friendly. He completed a few projects/repairs at our office, including building a bookshelf, repairing a leaky faucet, fixing exterior lighting, caulking and weather stripping. He had to come back a few times to complete the work and he was on time and very reliable. We would definitely hire him again for any repairs that need to be done. Thanks John! Susie Park
Highly recommend Juan for any plumbing projects. His work is very professional. He is easy to communicate with and a good guy to chat with. He quickly repiped a couple pipes and capped another. He had all of the parts in his van which made the whole appointment quick and painless. He left the job site cleaner than when he showed up..didn't leave a message like some contractors tend to do
David was a joy to have in my home. he was bright, friendly, informative and effective. David quickly assessed my problem and proposed a solution. After ensuring my floors were protected he used a sewer machine to clear my pipes and restore proper drainage. His price was very fair and I would absolutely have him back again and I will recommend him to my friends.
Appt was rescheduled twice due to contractor emergencies. However, quality of work was great!
Was very efficient and completed the job very well. Arrived as stated ready to work. These are qualities seen in professional contractors. Price quoted before work began. Good experience.
100 STARS!!! I’m so pleased that I don’t know where to even begin with this review.... In January of 2017, I hired Edgar to complete the plumbing for a unique type of Colon Hydrotherapy equipment that I wanted to install at my new business. I requested Edgar’s help literally 12hrs before I needed plumbing advice and, despite the fact that I contacted him at the very last minute, he was totally available, flexible and willing to help. The specifications required for my equipment were extremely unusual and were explained in a lengthy pamphlet that Edgar willingly read from cover to cover, in an effort to understand the exact details of how the device worked, what was required and how the job could be completed as quickly, inexpensively and efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, before installing the equipment, we unexpectedly underwent a 6 month long renovation as well as a 3 month long city hall review, before we were finally approved to move forward with the plumbing and installation of the device. I was a bit worried that Edgar would lose interest in the job at some point during the 9 months that it took for me to be completely ready & approved to move forward, but no...Edgar was there every step of the way! As the months passed, he was always available to answer any of my questions, to go with me to city hall to obtain necessary permits and to review my plans for the equipment (regardless of the many times that my plans changed). Although the process of starting my new business, completing a full office renovation & obtaining necessary city plumbing approval often felt like a never ending nightmare, Edgar was always the one constant positive throughout the chaos. I cannot give him enough praise. I’ve never written a review before but I will for him because everyone needs to know how great he is! He’s extremely friendly, patient, positive, affordable and always professional...I will be sending him referrals forever! I definitely definitely definitely recommend Edgar of Ocho Plumbing to anyone who is looking for an honest, reliable and knowledgeable plumber!
As a contractor I'm particular about other contractors. I've also had a number of plumbers out to the house and have never called the same one back twice. Anthony will be the first I will call back. Super nice guy, prompt, and easy to contact. The price was also equal to or better than the other plumbers I've called. He got to the house and had the drain unclogged in no time. This is after I used my own snake, then went out and rented a 50' electric snake from Home Depot, spent hours on the drain, and finally gave up and called Anthony. I would highly recommend him for your drainage, hot water heater, most of your plumbing needs.
After many years, my garbage disposal stopped working. I did an online search and found Thumbtack for the first time. I thought this service was just fantastic! I put in my request and immediately received two quotes. I was contacted by the owner of Pro Appliance Installers, Jesse. After a brief discussion, Jesse sent out two local contractors, Theo and Tech, to install my new garbage disposal. These guys were amazing! They were extremely efficient, thorough, and thoughtful of explaining the process to me. They took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and done right. I would highly recommend them for any job you need completed.
AstroPlumbing did a great job fixing my plumbing issues. They are punctual, reliable and communicate well.
We decided to install a hot tub in the backyard but needed a 220 connection away from the house. We tried to do some of the work ourselves by prepping an 18" trench for an electrician to come and wire. The soil was tough and the job harder than we thought. American Castles came and picked up where we left off, dug the remaining trench, connected the line, installed the box, and even recessed some of the line behind the stucco for a better visual. They didn't cut corners, showed up in a big team, and took care of everything without a problem. Price was reasonable. I would hire again.
I am not one who ordinarily takes the time to write a review concerning some work that I had done. In this case I am making an exception due to the experience that I had. I had some major backyard fence damage due to strong winds that also affected the adjoining neighbors on north and south side. Mark gave me a detailed invoice as to cost and labor and helped coordinate with my neighbors to split cost and he provided all of us with individual invoices that broke down all costs and labor. Mark is extremely knowledgable, very diligent and he constantly communicated with me to let me know about any concerns or issues that arose during the job. He has an engaging personality and a great sense of humor. His finished work was incredible. Better than I could have ever envisioned. His work ethic is outstanding. He started the work when he said he would and finished the work when he said he would, which has been an issue with other handyman contractors that I have hired in the past. I will hire Mark for every future job that I have and I highly recommend him to anyone that uses this site for referrals. I am happy to have been able to write this review and I know that anyone who reads this and hires Mark, will feel compelled to write their own glowing review. Thanks again Mark.
George is an awesome contractor to work with. He's prompt and reliable and follows-up with the work throughout the project process. We will definitely use him again in our next couple of projects.
My job was finished quickly. Once I agreed to the work, the team arrived and went to work. Fasuto listened to my ideas and gave insightful options. The team was professional and neat. The arrived on time as promised. I highly recommend this contractor. I look forward to working with him again.
I went with Melissa and Don because they had great reviews and I liked Melissa's personality from the start when I talked to her. Boy was I right! Going from a simple "patch these couple of holes over here" project into a full house paint and fix-ups remodel, Melissa and Don were absolutely amazing! They gave us reasonable quotes for all kinds of odd jobs around the house and came up with creative solutions each step of the way. They stuck to their quotes (we all know what I'm talking about here, hate it when that happens) and went above and beyond the call of duty!! To top it off, they were up front, genuine, nice, and fun to be around people (which is important when you're dealing with remodel and contractors). Go with DZ Handyman - you'll get a way better experience with these guys, they are skilled at what they do, they like it, and it shows (think even painting, etc.)! It's no wonder they have so many great reviews! Thanks a lot, Melissa & Don! - L&T
John is my go-to contractor for construction, wood working, sealing and a lot more. He's **amazing** at design and scoping projects and coming up with smart ways to do things right but also quickly and inexpensively. His hourly is higher than others, but you'll save in the work not being over-designed or needing to be done twice.
Extremely reliable, courteous, and knowledgeable plumbers. Prices were something we could afford and not over-inflated. They fixed a long ongoing drainage problem with my bathroom sink. The P-Trap joint was replaced as it had a leak and appeared to be the original to the house. They also snaked the sink completely through. They also fixed a clogged toilet in another bathroom. They did discover a bigger issue with their camera that we will be calling them back for. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.
I have worked with Nick for over a two decades now. He has done numerous repair jobs and/or remodels for me on my homes as well as worked on a few rental properties I own. Everything from a roof repair, plumbing leaks/new plumbing, tile work, a new fence, Jacuzzi installations to full bathroom & kitchen remodels. He's always shown up on time when he said he'd be here and has completed the projects in the amount of time he estimated. His pricing has always been fair and the quality of work has always been exceptional. He cleans up after himself when he's done and makes sure that you're happy with everything before signing off on the work. He's a great guy to work with and has great sens of humor. With all the bad stuff you hear about construction people and contractors out there, he's a breath of fresh air. I've done everything from full new construction work to minor repairs and he's always the guy I call first. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for someone that they can count on the give you a good deal and get the job done without any headaches. Ken aka Monty
Ian is fantastic! He’ll get the job done quickly and exceptionally well. Refreshing in the world of rip-off contractors!!
I have worked with Tino Arteaga as a contractor for 16 years. I have found him and his team to be very professional, responsive and puntual. His team did a great job on our home and many of the commercial retail buildings we manage for Worchell Properties. We are very pleased with his work ethic and excellent job on the remodel of several of the buildings we manage and will continue to use him and his team for all our other jobs. Sincerely, Chrisoula St. Dennis Director of Property Management Worchell Properties
