Many say that they were against the idea of staging but are believers now! And, my fees are just a fraction of the costs other stagers charge. What I like most about being a home stager is helping people. I get to share my gift for space planning and design in a way that helps people sell their homes much faster than their competition. We know how extremely stressful selling your home can be. I like to think that my staging services help to give sellers some peace of mind in knowing that they have done their best to prepare their home to sell. Plus, I've had so many sellers say that they picked up lots of great decorating ideas for their next home! I love sharing what I know about design and space planning.

"Show me the money" is what I said to Candice when I first hired her to do a staging job. I was a bit skeptical at first, but once I saw the results I was SOLD and so were my listings! Candice has staged numerous homes for me and everyone of them SOLD in much less than the average market time and at a higher price! Staging is one of the most important factors in selling a home & especially in today's market! Great staging is far beyond decorating & tidying up a home. Homes are bought & sold with emotions and feelings. Staging is about perfecting the art of creating moods and feelings in a home so it SELLS! That's exactly why I use Candice to stage my listings! Candice has PERFECTED the art of staging & I've had FANTASTIC results with the homes she's staged! Candice with Staging By Candice is the reason why my listings are selling in a declining market. One day, I was complaining about my listings not selling, and didn't understand "why" because they were "nice." Candice overheard me and suggested that I allow her to stage one of those "nice" listings, and see if it would make a difference. I had her do one of my 'nice" listings, and WOW!!! Candice made a difference!! Not only did my listing look great, but it also sold within a month! I have used her for several years, and she truely transforms a home to sell. I've been a Realtor since 1994, and with the market constantly changing, my prior standard marketing plan was not working to sell my listings, but now using Candice, I can sell my listings. Not only does a home need to be priced right, but it absolutely must be staged in order for it to sell, and for a good price. It is now part of my marketing plan that I rarely deviate from. I even tell the seller that I will deduct the cost of the staging from my commission at closing, which will help to convince the seller to do it, as they need to participate with the staging. Overall, it is peanuts to obtain a sale vs. sitting on the market for a few more months. Even fellow Realtors have been asking me what my secret is (as I've been selling most of my regular sellers homes in this market), and it really is the staging that makes my listings stand out over the competition. For the minimal cost involved for the staging, my clients get a better return back with the sale of their home, and they sell much faster than the competition. Candice works with the seller's current possessions, and her own possessions to transform a "nice" home to a "breathtaking" home. My listings are now selling faster, easier, and at a better price than if staging wasn't involved. My sellers even recommend me to their friends because of the staging. Even my skeptical sellers are delighted after their homes sell because they see the transformation themselves. It is worth the minimal cost to stage a home vs. sitting on the market a several more months. Thanks Candice for making my job less stressful!

I was referred to Candice by a well-known and highly respected real estate agent who told me that Candice's creativity and thoughtfulness could significantly and positively impact potential buyers of my beloved beach home. Mind you, I had some nice art work and furniture in the home but it's organization and presentation were certainly not selling points alone. My house quite simply did not have a "wow" factor that can help buyers visualize the home and assist in making them truly feel as though they want to make the home theirs in a timely manner. Candice, a down to earth, practical and personable woman with an visionary eye for style and marketability, walked through my home and immediately and considerately shared her observations room by room. Her goal was to help design both the interior and exterior of the home with a feeling of warmth and style that complimented the personality of the home and it's lovely surrounding area. She worked within a reasonable budget and even used some of my own items in addition to hers in order to help potential buyers feel at ease and at home while also helping them understand that the house was well cared for and mirrored the beach front community that truly offers people the opportunity to "take a load off" and relax in comfort. Although I have never used a stager before, I quickly realized her talents and genuine interest in helping my house sell at or above the asking price. Upon completion of her remarkable work I toured nearby houses in the area for the sake of curiosity. Did these homes feel inviting and have curb appeal or did I feel uneasy and dubious about their limitations? Did I get the feeling that I could see myself living in the home or did it feel foreign as if I were merely a guest in a house that was filled with well used furniture that neither set a warm mood nor spoke to why a person would want to by a beach house in the first place? That settled it and my curiosity turned into immediate appreciation and gratification for Candice's skill set. And, if that were not enough, I am pleased to say that my house sold in 9 days! This is not a typo. 9 days!!! The other nearby houses were on the market for many months. Boy, how different their outcomes could have been had they hired Candice. So, with all this said, I have only excellent remarks to make about Candice and her personality and skill set. Trust me, if you want to avoid having your house on the market for ages, enlist Candice's talents. In my opinion, Candice is the right woman for the job!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Most of my staging jobs are for real estate Brokers and their sellers. Usually they need furniture rearranged to help the rooms look larger. My focus is to create a "wow-factor" and make prospective buyers feel like they are walking into a model home or a page out of a magazine! In my approach I reuse and repurpose the seller's furnishings to SAVE them money. Then for the finishing touches, I like to bring along a few colorful accessories for an extra splash of style. I can keep my staging jobs under 4 hours because the sellers participate. It saves them money plus I teach them the concepts of staging and we have fun!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Ask for references - who can you call to get confirmation of their work? Can you get their fee in writing? Do they offer a money back guarantee on their services?
