I began my journey into fitness in 2004 shortly after graduating high school where I received a National Certificate as a Personal Trainer. I started training clients at a local YMCA and developed a deep passion for helping others improve their overall health. In my early years as a Personal Trainer, I studied Kinesiology and found that I have a natural understanding of the human body and knew I was being called to make a career of it! In 2007, I decided to become an independent trainer, expanding my client demographic as well as continuing my education. In 2010 I launched the first 24-hour Key access gym in Pleasant Hill, previously known as Step It Up Gym, which served the Pleasant Hill community for 10 years. In 2019 I officially reached 20,000 training sessions and can confidently say that I am now a seasoned trainer. I enjoy educating clients as well as giving them a “kick-butt workout!” I firmly believe that any trainer can take a client through a tough workout, but it is another thing to teach the client how to live a healthy lifestyle.
