I cannot recommend Christa enough. She was a great addition to our family of vendors on our wedding day. Christa always had great recommendations and only checked in with me on the wedding day when it was absolutely necessary. When i think back to our wedding, she paid attention to every detail that was important to us and helped keep everything on schedule throughout the day. She also helped with some pre wedding issues and provided excellent guidance on some tough conversations we had to have two weeks before. Thanks Christa!!

Wedding Coordination

Get Christa on your wedding team! It's safe to say she was absolutely the best money we spent on our wedding. As out day-of coordinator she made everything run so smoothly. Our venue ended up being a bit difficult to work with, and if there were any problems, I sure didn't know about them. Not only did she make our wedding day a breeze, but she was incredibly response and helped with a number of decisions in the 10 months leading up to the day, down to the number of bottles of wine we should order for dinner. I loved working with her and would definitely recommend her to any family, friend, or loved one.

Wedding Planning

I felt as though my wedding was not a priority. She was very verbal about how many weddings she has booked for herself. Small details were missed, I felt as though I had to keep the timeline for many things. The day of was not discussed that she would not be there. She sent an assistant, who I then had to re explain all the details we had discussed over the planning process in one day, while I’m trying to get ready. I felt as though my requests were a burden.

Christa and her team did a fantastic job executing our vision. On the day of our wedding, we had nothing to stress about and didn’t have to take time out to address any logistical issues because Christa was on top of it. If we got married or were hosting another event, we would certainly book Magnetic Magnificent Events again.

Efficient. Timely. Organized. Attentive. Calm. Direct. These are all words to describe the Magnetic Magnificent Event experience with Christa. Christa was officially the Day-of-Coordinator for our City Hall Wedding and Restaurant Reception, but she did so much more. Our event took place in SF, but we were planning from Texas; Christa ensured this was possible by being a great communicator and collaborator with us, our vendors, and our families. Leading up to the event, Christa kindly reminded us of deadlines and simplified the pre-event planning experience for me, so that on the day of our wedding, I could be the bride. She also gave us such fabulous vendor references, so that our event could stay in scope as a simple, fun celebration. During the reception she ensured that my husband and I were fed, hydrated, and happy, while balancing a tight schedule of reception activities.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We do have standard packages for weddings and flat rate for corporate events. The prices are based on the needs of the customer and the time commitment needed, whether remote assistance or on-site services are needed, etc.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I typically like to start with a phone or face-to-face consultation. This helps us both to decide if the relationship is a good fit. From there, I make myself available whenever my client has a need. All customers get unlimited tech-touch with me, via email and text. Calls & meetings will be scheduled as needed. We make every effort to be the right hand for our client.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Hospitality, Recreation, & Tourism, and have been awarded Meeting Professional of the Quarter and Meeting Professional of the Year through Meeting Professional's International, Northern California Chapter. I am also a Certified Meeting Professional and one of our wedding's was featured in the Style section of the San Francisco Chronicle.
